Chapter 2 - day at school

Chapter 2

….

Allen yawned the next morning, putting a hand up to his mouth. He used his other hand to place a plate onto the table in front of him.

Yesterday, he had made sure Sarah got home safely. He even stayed in the area for several hours to ensure her safety. No Demons had made any moves to attack, still though, if they did make a move he'd sense it. She did live close enough to him for the young Demon to take notice of it, if there were an attack.

Allen took a seat and began to eat, quietly. He wasn't in a rush, but he did have somewhere to be today. School.

He would rather not, but in order to blend in with society he had to attend school. Allen had even used illusions to make it seem like he had been at that school for almost a year. Everyone in school was under his power.

The teachers, principal? Students. Everyone. The files the school had on him were fake of course, but that was part of the illusion as well. They wouldn't question it, no matter what.

Allen was determined to protect lives, even going so far as to go to school.

He ate in a steady pace and once he was done he put his plate in the sink.

Next he walked to the living room and picked up his backpack before exiting his house and locking the door behind him.

Allen was aware of his surroundings as he made his way towards the school. He didn't sense any demons on the way to school which was a good thing.

Sooner, rather than later he arrived at the school. The building was pretty large. The building itself was white and blue in color and had windows spread across the building. It was easily four or five stories high.

He could already see students filing into the school. He ran a hand through his hair before making his way inside. He saw a lot of students heading to the cafeteria.

Allen decided to head to his first period, English with Mr. Scott.

…..

Piper had an irritated look on her face as she placed eggs and bacon on her plate. She had to go to P3 pretty soon, but she wanted to get something to eat first.

Phoebe walked next to her and grabbed a plate as well.

When they had returned home yesterday to check the book of shadows they were shocked to find out he wasn't in the book of shadows. Worse they couldn't even scry for him. It was unfortunate, but he had probably killed someone yesterday and gotten away with it.

'Damn Demon.' Phoebe thought angrily. Her ex had been a Demon, half demon to be more specific. She had good memories with him, but there were also bad one too. He had tried to kill them more times than she cared to count.

Ultimately they ended up vanquishing him. It was sad, but they didn't have a choice.

"This suuuucks." Piper said as she took a bite of her bacon.

"I know what you mean. There's nothing we can do, our only hope is him showing himself. Who Knows maybe when the next demon attacks us, he might reveal himself." Phoebe grabbed her food and began to eat it.

Piper knew that what Phoebe said was true, however that didn't make it any less irritating. "And you still can't force a premonition?"

Phoebe frowned. Obviously there wasn't an object to focus her power, and no matter how much she thought about Allen, she never got a premonition.

"I'm afraid not pipes. We just have to keep trying."

Piper sighed.

Who was this Demon? How was he so powerful, and what did he want?'

…..

"Can anyone tell me how hitler met his end?" Mr. Smith, the History teacher questions his students.

Mr. Smith smiled as one of his students raised their hand.

"Yes, Kimberly?"

"The Soviet troops were closing in on him. He decided to kill himself before they could get to him. He was in his underground bunker."

"Correct. It's nice to know some of my students pay attention." Mr. Smith looked at certain individuals.

Mr. Smith discussed things that happened during WW2 before telling the students to get together in pairs.

Allen was paired up with Kimberly. He didn't really have a problem with that. She was quiet most of the time, but he didn't think she was a bad person. From what he noticed the brown haired teen had very few friends.

Kimberly Hart is a fifteen year old girl with brown hair which reached to the middle of her back. Her eyes were a creamy brown. Most of the time she wore pink. Today was no different. She wore pink jeans and a white blouse.

She was certainly beautiful.

The teacher told them to research something and write a summary which had to be a page long. Words written on the front and back of the page. That was the minimum requirement.

Allen couldn't find himself being bored, having a cute girl would have that effect wouldn't it? Unlike most of the students, at the end of class their paper was finished.

"Thanks for not being lazy." Kimberly knew others who would just let her do all the work.

Allen smiled at her. "We're partners, Kimberly. I can't let you do all the work, it wouldn't feel right."

Kimberly returned the smile, and what a beautiful smile she had. It actually took everything he had to prevent himself from blushing.

Briiiing….!

Students began to gather their things and retreating from the classroom.

Kimberly placed all of her things in her bag before flinging it over her shoulder. She took a quick glance at Allen, giving him a smile.

"Bye. Allen."

Allen nods. "Later, Kimberly."
