As ten days pass by doctor Chao and Lady Haoren often take turns into Wen ji till he finishes meditating and Wen Ji wakes up as he makes entered qi gathering realm. Wen Ji wakes up

Wen Ji grabs the cup and gives the cup to his mother
"Here you go! Mom, you must be thirsty." Wen Ji says

They both drank the water and Haoren was exhausted from her training
"Mom, let's go to the gazebo." Wen Ji asks

They both walked into the gazebo to get some fresh air and sits and Wen Ji asks Yu'er for some snacks in the kitchen
"Yu'er, please go to the kitchen to get some tea and snacks and if they asks whom is from, you tell them it's from madam got it. Yu'er!" Wen Ji asks
"Yes, young master!" Yu'er replied
Yu'er bows and runs to the kitchen to tell kitchen staffs to make some snacks for the madam and young master
"Is there anyone in the kitchen!" Yu'er yells
"Yes i'm in here!" the kitchen cook replies
"Prepare some tea and snacks, the madam is hungry She needs two cups? "Yu'er asked
"Yes right away." the kitchen cook replies

The cook prepared some ingredients to cook and boiled some water for the tea and while yu'er waits outside of the kitchen
"the snacks are ready!" the kitchen cook says.

yu'er goes back to the pavilion where the madam and her young master sits while Wen Ji calls his Beast Companion

as the entire compound rumbles a Giant Horned Ice Jade Snake appears
"well, well, well! Xiao bai sure has grown bigger, did you make it bigger. Haoren asks"
"i did. with the help of the herbs of course! Wen Ji replies"
"Mother, i gotta get going. i got to feed my beast companion that you gave me when i was a kid. i'll be back in the evening Wen Ji ask"
"Ok! son don't be late." Haoren replies
Wen Ji jumps high and stands in the Giant Horned Ice Jade Snake as they go hunt in the forest for Xiao Bai's food. as they went to the deepest part of the forest, a red wolf appears its roughly 3 meters in height
"hmm! a red wolf that's roughly 3 meters in height, 1000 year old beast core perfect for Xiao Bai's Beast core Absorption cultivation technique." Wen Ji thinks
Wen Ji knelt Down and pats Xiao Bai and says telepathically "Xiao Bai, lets go kill that red wolf."
"Yes, Master!" Xiao Bai Happily Replies Telepathically
Wen Ji jumps from a tree while the Giant Horned Ice Jade Snake slithers fast to corner the red wolf and choked it hard and bites it with its innate skill frost venom its more deadly than regular venom
"Master! the wolf is dead." Xiao Bai ask Telepathically
"Good job! Xiao Bai, now absorb its Beast core just like taught you." Wen ji Replies Telepathically
"Sure, Master." Xiao Bai replies telepathically
the Giant Horned Ice Jade Snake starts to absorb the red wolf 1000-year sold beast core at almost three hours had past till its absorption is complete
