Han Zheng heard a noise from behind, turned around, and saw Yan Luoxi had collapsed on the ground. He hurriedly squatted down, lifted her up, and his flashlight shone on something that was twinkling brightly.
For a moment, Han Zheng forgot about Yan Luoxi. He scooped away the dirt, and buried in it was a diamond pendant. He picked it up, along with a delicate necklace which, despite being buried for so long, still maintained its luster.
He put the diamond necklace into his trouser pocket, then scooped Yan Luoxi up into his arms and strode out of the abandoned warehouse. He laid her in the back seat of the car, opened both doors, and the sunroof to let her breathe in the fresh air.
He leaned against the car door, took out the diamond necklace, which was a delicate pendant glittering under the flashlight. Suddenly, he seemed to notice something and studied it carefully with the flashlight.
