Chapter 126 - The Gremory Household

"Okay, so now that everyone is here… For our summer vacation, we're going into the Gremory Household!" Rias announced with a smile, eliciting interested looks from some of the newer members of the Peerage.

"Looks like we're going back into the Underworld," Mitarai said, not really too excited but not too bored, just in the middle.

Rias sighed. "You could show a bit of enthusiasm, Takashi-kun."

"Well, last time was... Plus, I like it here with all of you," Mitarai replied back, making Rias' eyes perk up and smile, the others smiling at the care that Mitarai could show from time to time.

Boarding the train, the Sitri Peerage was also there with them. While the temptation to make the train ride a bit more fun was available, they had to hold back for some of the other passengers who were there. Namely, the Sitri Peerage.

They ended up parting ways with the Sitri as their territory had arrived, though it was reluctant, they left, but not without each giving passionate kisses to Mitarai; Genshirou mumbling in the background, while the Gremory Peerage carried on.

"Rias, why are we going to the Underworld?" Asia asked.

Rias smiled at her Bishop. "I'm glad you asked. The reason is that there will be a gathering of young devils for all the heirs of the current generation."

A notice came that they were close to reaching the Gremory territory. Asia took the time to look at the window, and she gasped with glittering eyes as she took in the size of the territory.

"I guess this is what being an important devil house can get you," Mitarai said, looking at the vast pastures of land and complex lands littering the place.

Suddenly, the train came to a strong halt.

"But it looks like the trains aren't perfect," Mitarai muttered, his face in Akeno's bosom.

"But what just happened right now?" Takashi asked, removing himself from the heap of heaven, something Akeno frowned at but moved on from.

The next moment, the train was engulfed in a purple array of dimensional particles.

Mitarai looked around to find himself in an abandoned loft of land with a rocky terrain and mountains. "Is everyone alright?!" Rias shouted, her confirmation given by seeing her Peerage members appear.

"Are you alright, mother?" Koneko asked, her mother nodding thankfully.

The same for Akeno's situation.

A piece of the mountain fell, making everyone move back. Xenovia pre-emptively summoned Durandal. "Something is coming!" she warned.

Her deduction was correct as a western dragon glared, their gigantic figure revealing themselves. With the exception of his lower body, specifically his belly, the inner portions of his long tail and legs, which are beige in color, a majority of the body is covered in dark purple, draconic scales.

A triangular head with yellow horns, a pair of large, keen red eyes with lavender sclera, and serrated yet sharp canine teeth. He also has claws with long, sharp, yellow nails on his hands, and large bat-like wings with rigid tips.

In addition to that, black armored pauldrons extended down to his arms, and a loincloth was decorated with metallic accessories.

'A dragon?! I wonder if the Khaos Brigade is responsible for this?' Mitarai thought, summoning Ascalon from the Boosted Gear.

"Time to give this one the Vali treatment."

"Koneko, Akeno! Get those two in a safe position! Asia, stay on standby for support," Rias ordered, but stopped as the dragon took its move.

Mitarai channeled the Boost power into his Ascalon, making the dragon flap back to avoid the deadly weapon.

"Rias, keep doing your job! I'll hold it off with Ascalon!" he said, immediately calling upon Ilulu to help him as he charged forward.

Quickly praying for his safety, Rias continued: "Yuuto, Xenovia, provide physical support if need be! I'll attack from a distance. Gasper, try and stop his movements if possible!"

"Right!"

"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!" Mitarai's form began to be wrapped in the Scale Mail as he continued to power up while Ilulu blasted a large heatwave attack from her mouth, prolonging it extra while he could charge up.

"TRANSFER!" A green glow covered everyone except Mitarai.

"Shower him with blows!" Takashi shouted, charging forward but doing a quick turnaround as the purple dragon erupted a sea of flames in his mouth, very focused and intent on making Mitarai not get closer to him with the dragon-slaying sword.

Taking advantage of this state, Akeno and Rias both took their time to bombard the aggressive dragon with an array of their most powerful attacks.

Blue, red, black, and yellow rain is falling heavily enough. It looked not to be doing much, but the distraction was still helpful.

Growling, it expanded its flames. "BE"—Ilulu charged through and launched her fist right into its stomach, lowering the range of flames and allowing Mitarai a breather to go back in and rush towards the target—"QUIET!"

Realizing their plan, the dragon tried opening its maw once more, but Yuuto came from up top with his empowered Sword of Betrayer, and Xenovia came at the bottom with Durandal against its skin, pressing their blades as hard as they could to stop the dragon from spewing a salvo of flames.

"It's tough!" they both noted, feeling like their blades could break at any moment.

"I'll do something, too!" Gasper proclaimed, his eyes morphing as a purple cloak covered the dragon's frame, and it ceased its actions. 'I can do it! I'm a man!' the Dhampir thought.

Ascalon was ever so close to reaching the dragon, but things never turned out that way, as a blast of magic shook them off.

"That's enough!" Azazel's voice reached their ears. "It's over now!"

Mitarai grunted, ruffling his hair. "Azazel! What is it this time?!" he said, frustrated and wanting an answer for Azazel's involvement in things.

The Fallen Angels smirked. "This was a little test for you devils to see how well you would work under pressure, and if you could bring your power if such a case would happen, which is more likely to start happening now."

"I apologize for attacking you all so suddenly. I'm very impressed with your strength and teamwork," the dragon said. His eyes turned to Mitarai. "It's been a while, Ddraig. How is it? You're new host is an impressive one!"

Mitarai looked to the Boosted Gear. "I'm guessing you knew it was him all along?" he asked, a neutral expression on his face.

"It's been a while, Tannin. And I did know. But why ruin the surprise?" Ddraig pointed out, making Mitarai just nod in acceptance.

"He's another one of the Dragon Kings. Though it seems he's also reincarnated into a devil."

Azazel laughed. "The dragons are right. Still, well done for all of you. You did really well under all that work. I assume that the Red Dragon Emperor definitely had a hand in helping."

Rias rolled her eyes in annoyance. "This was still extreme!" she huffed.

"Well, your brother wanted it. You'll have to complain to him. Though I'm sure Sirzechs will go soft on you, the sis-con," Azazel joked, though she groaned because he wasn't wrong with his statement.

Akeno glared a bit at Azazel. "My mother could have been hurt, too," she said, Koneko nodding as she gripped her fists.

"Hey, hey, all the hate. I get that I'm a fallen angel in devil territory, but let's try and get along for peace's sake. Your Red Dragon Emperor wants it," Azazel said, both of them softening at Mitarai being brought up. 'I knew they'd react like that. They're a bunch of softies, young in love they are.'

"I have a name," Mitarai reminded Azazel.

"Yeah, yeah, brat. Just go and get to your residence. I'm sure you don't want to see this annoying creep near you."

With the mess out of the way, the Gremory group finally came upon the Gremory manor.

Greeting them were Grayfia and Venelana, though Mitarai couldn't help but take a moment to stare at the babies they were holding, as it had been two weeks since they both gave birth to their beautiful daughters.

Mitarai went straight to hold his babies as Grayfia and Venelana welcomed everyone else.

"Welcome home, Lady Rias," Grayfia said, bowing down while also giving Mitarai a 'Fuck me now' gazes.

Quickly and silently, so that only he caught it.

Venelana swamped her daughter in a hug, crushing her face with mommy milkers. "It's so good to see you, dear!" she said, Rias tapping her mom to try and get her to stop.

After cuddling her own daughter enough, Venelana was ready to make a move on Takashi, but Rias held out her hand.

"Mother, it's late! I know you want to greet everyone, but I think we should all settle down first and give everyone a chance to rest."

"It was just going to be a little hug, Rias. But it's fine. We'll get everyone adjusted, so enjoy yourselves, everyone!" Venelana said, smiling generously at the guests with equal love, though Mitarai got an extra helping of lust with his smile.
