Metis.
Prometheus.
Eris.
Four gods, three factions.
Each was preparing for their respective actions. Zeus, Metis, and Prometheus all knew what the others were doing, while Eris lurked in the shadows, silently waiting for her opportunity.
Opportunities!
They come only once.
None of them could afford to be careless. For any of them, missing this single chance could lead to fatal consequences.
As for Hades and Poseidon?
Why were they not taking any action?
Simply put, they were just watching the chaos unfold. As for getting involved? They had no interest. They were merely curious to see how it would all end and what the future would hold.
This was the mindset of the two brothers.
After all, no matter the outcome, both Zeus and Abel's roles as King of the Gods were permitted by the Mythological World. In other words, whoever held the crown—be it Zeus or Abel—was allowed by the Mythological World itself.
This was all happening within the boundaries set by the Mythological World. Otherwise, at this point in time, things wouldn't have reached this stage.
Otherwise...
Heh.
The chaos in the world above had already plunged the Mythological World into a peculiar state. If the problems persisted, and the world's development descended into complete disorder, then...
At that time...
The Mythological World might trigger its reset mechanism, restarting everything from scratch. If it came to that, it would be too late for anything else.

Everyone was aware of the potential consequences, though it was hard to predict exactly how things would unfold.
Naturally, Hades and Poseidon had no desire to get involved.
In essence, the current balance of power—a tripod formed by the three great forces—was maintained by the Mythological World. Without absolute divine power, it was best not to disrupt this balance. Or rather, before doing so, one would need to be at least an Ancient God.
Only upon reaching the level of an Ancient God could one pose a serious challenge. At that stage, aside from restricting the Ancient Gods, the Mythological World had no way to deal with them. If one hadn't reached that level yet, it was better to behave obediently.

Everything was about to begin in earnest.

Zeus slowly stood from his throne, calmly walking out of the divine palace. In an instant, boundless thunder covered the Heavenly Realm.
At the same time, the entire Heavenly Realm was enveloped in a dark divine power and a blue divine power.
It was the powers of the Lord of the Underworld and the Sea Emperor.
Simultaneously!
The shadowy figures of Hades and Poseidon reappeared.
"..."
The two gods silently gazed at Zeus. Zeus, meanwhile, curled his lips into a faint smile and said, "My two brothers, are you here to watch me put on a show?"
Poseidon responded coldly, "Under the rules of the Mythological World, we currently maintain a tripartite balance. I'm simply here to see how things will turn out for you."
"I'm the same," Hades said calmly. "After all, compared to our nephew Abel, you—our tempestuous, chaotic little brother—are far more entertaining."
Hades and Poseidon...
To them...
Honestly speaking!
They didn't really care whether Zeus or Abel ruled the Heavenly Realm.
It made no difference to them.
But!
If they had to choose between Zeus and Abel, it would definitely be Zeus, since he was their brother, while Abel was merely their nephew.
As for the reason?
There wasn't any special reason. It wasn't so much familial love as it was more of a bond forged in battle.
"Hmph!"
Zeus smirked. Though clearly irritated, he still wore a smile and said, "You two sure know how to annoy me! But fine, just watch. I'll be the final victor. Isn't that obvious?"
"The Heavenly Realm."
"It indeed needs a transformation, and this time, it will be a change that can never be undone."

With that, the shadows of Hades and Poseidon dissipated.
At this moment.
The entire Heavenly Realm had been completely sealed off. With this closure, no one outside would know what was happening within. Most importantly, no one would be able to tell what the final outcome inside the Heavenly Realm would be.
All that could be done...
Was wait in silence.
As the figures of Hades and Poseidon faded away...
What would be the final outcome?
The answer seemed clear!

As the two gods left, Zeus stood silently, while Prometheus approached.
He bowed respectfully and said, "Your Majesty, everything is ready."
"Heh..."
Zeus looked at Prometheus and chuckled lightly, saying, "Prometheus, I find it amusing. You've made this choice, but what caused the changes in your heart?"
"..."
Prometheus remained silent. Even the god of wisdom himself didn't know what to say at this moment.
Zeus didn't say any more either. He simply remarked calmly, "Let's go. Everything is about to begin, and with it, chaos will fully erupt."
"From here on."
"A new era will emerge. Let's see if your preparations are truly sufficient."
"Or perhaps..."
"I will completely rule over everything."
Zeus' gaze was filled with absolute calm, as though none of this really concerned him at all.
Yet, the more indifferent he seemed, the more everything was about to change dramatically.
Prometheus knew that Zeus had figured out their plans.
But!
What decisions would this God-King ultimately make? Who could say? His actions might become quite unique. Success or failure? No one could predict!
