"That's right," Ishtar nodded, guessing that the other party might have the ability to read minds.
Sebastian continued, "If you want us to help you save the other world, of course, it is possible."
"Very good!" Hearing Sebastian's words, a smile appeared on Ishtar's face.
But at this time, Sebastian also showed a meaningful smile: "Then what can you pay us?"
"What?!" Ristarte was surprised. This was the first time she had seen someone negotiating terms with Ishtar.
Ishtar is considered to be the leader of the Divine Realm, as she is the Great Goddess. And this person of unknown origin was asking for concessions.
But before Ristarte could finish speaking, Ishtar interrupted her and turned to Sebastian, saying, "May I ask what Mr. Sebastian wants?"
"If possible, I would like for Gaeabrande to be given to me," Sebastian said with a smile.
"What?!" Even Ristarte was surprised at this moment.
"Gaeabrande is now facing the threat of the Demon Lord, and I can help you get rid of them. Afterward, I will guide the world, and I can ensure that the lives of the people inside will improve." Sebastian's tone was calm.
Ishtar's expression became serious, and now her mind was implicated. There was no doubt that if she only relied on Ristarte, this mission would be too difficult. After all, Ristarte's combat power could be said to be negligible, and even her healing effect was very mediocre—sometimes even inferior to items and herbs. If Sebastian joined in, perhaps this task might become much more manageable.
While Ishtar was thinking, Ristarte took the initiative to say, "You guys just ruined the summoning ceremony that I worked so hard to draw, so you must compensate me and replace my hero!"
Ristarte pouted her lips like a pufferfish.
"Why…" Ishtar shook her head helplessly; Ristarte's personality was sometimes as naive as a child's. But since she had already said so, Ishtar could not refuse.
"Okay, if Mr. Sebastian can save this world from the hands of the Demon Lord, then we are willing to give this world to you." Since the possibility of Ristarte recovering Gaeabrande by her strength was zero, it was better to let Sebastian and his group assist.
Ishtar also felt that Sebastian was not a villain, and it might be a good choice to hand over the world to them. No matter how bad it was, it was better than letting the Demon Lord rule the world.
"Okay, then we have reached an agreement for the time being," Sebastian said with a smile.
Sebastian and Ristarte walked out of the room together. Ristarte no longer felt fear of Sebastian, but instead, she was curious.
"Sir Sebastian, may I ask which world you are from?" Ristarte asked.
"That's a secret," Sebastian replied with a smile.
"Alright then…" Ristarte nodded suspiciously.
When Sebastian walked back to his stronghold, he found that his associates had been in a fierce quarrel with Cerceus and the other gods.
"You mortals dare to be so arrogant in front of us gods?!" Cerceus said loudly, wanting to show his power.
In front of him, Ram, Esdeath, and the others had disdainful expressions on their faces. If Sebastian hadn't first told them not to do anything without his authorization, they would have been ready to engage in a violent brawl.
"Stop, Lord Cerceus!" Ristarte quickly interjected. "Sir Sebastian is already our ally!"
"Ally?!" Hearing Ristarte's words, Cerceus looked puzzled.
Sebastian caught sight of Cerceus's arrogant demeanor, a trace of disdain appearing on his face. "Are you the Sword God?"
"That's right!" When Cerceus heard the title of Sword God, a proud expression immediately appeared on his face. His strength was among the top few in the Divine Realm, and he assumed that these mortals in front of him were just ordinary people who were not his match.
Initially, Sebastian was not prepared to cause trouble, but seeing that the other party was already behaving shamelessly, he decided to challenge them.
"Then, Lord Sword God, I have an aide who also practices swordsmanship, and he wishes to learn from you. I wonder if that would be acceptable?" After Sebastian finished speaking, he deliberately added, "Of course, we can invite other gods to oversee this discussion."
"Good!" Hearing Sebastian's words, Cerceus became even more emboldened. He thought he could easily crush the opponent, and he could also perform well in front of other gods to satisfy his vanity.
Seeing Cerceus's triumphant look, Sebastian showed a meaningful smile: "Reinhard, prepare to have a good fight with the Sword God."
"As ordered," Reinhard nodded.
A few minutes later, Sebastian, Reinhard, and the others arrived at Cerceus's sword training ground. Other gods also gathered around the scene.
"Did a mortal truly enter the Divine Realm?!"
"And they even challenged Cerceus!"
"But it seems they are going to rescue Gaeabrande."
"No matter how many people there are, it's useless; it's an S-level world!"
The other gods conversed, and they had no expectations for Sebastian and his group.
Reinhard had already followed Cerceus into the arena, where he placed his dragon sword on the other side. However, Cerceus didn't respond, indicating that even the Sword God was unworthy of drawing his sword.
But Cerceus failed to recognize the seriousness of the situation, picking up a sword and throwing it at Reinhard.
"I won't bully mortals; I'll just use one hand." Cerceus held the sword with one hand, placing the other behind his back.
"Excuse me, is there only one sword?" Reinhard asked, as no weapon in this world could withstand his strength, except for the dragon sword.
"Ah?" Cerceus was a bit puzzled and didn't understand what the other party meant. "There are as many weapons here as you want."
"Then I don't have to worry about it." Reinhard smiled slightly, held the sword, and looked at Cerceus. "Please stay on the defensive."
