Lilia's POV
I peek out the window and realize how saddening the atmosphere around the royal capital of the Fire Rose kingdom is.
The people seem to be living to survive. Their eyes show how lifeless their lives were. All the things I noticed was their loneliness that clouded the whole place.
I seated on the bed groan. I took off my coat and unbuttoned my shirt. I throw them on the other side of the bed. I look at the bandage that is tightly wrapped around my chest.
I have to do this just to make myself flat. I disguised myself as a man and acted like my husband's personal servant.
"I can't really breathe with this. Damn it!" I start taking off my bandage and slowly breathe properly.
As soon as the bandage was taken off, I noticed a presence. I grabbed my dagger and turned around, pointing the edge of the blade.
"Hon?!" I roared.
His eyes dilated. He grabs my waist and embraces me right away. "I should be happy that you're vigilant with your surroundings, but…"
