'What kind of creatures are even here?'
'The humans seem more scary than most of the monsters I've checked out yesterday,' Lydia thought as she placed the book on the table.
Then she stood and stretched before running and flopping on the bed.
'Scary, scary world.'
'Scary, scary world,' she repeated as she crawled under the blankets and yawned.
After a while, she peeked her head out and poked the pillow with her index finger.
'Shaman's huh… I'm not sure, probably because I haven't explored this body's powers yet or asked anyone about it.'
'Once I do, I might be able to know what kind of power she really possesses.'
Lydia flipped and fixed the blanket before looking at the ceiling.
'Right, why did I even make things hard for myself? I could just ask the maids about it once they bring in my afternoon snack.'
Lydia yawned again, so she turned to her side and closed her eyes.
As soon as she did, a soft knock echoed in the room, making her eyes open abruptly.
