Chapter 386 - Chapter 386

["Reward for Bruce Wayne: Hellbat Armor."]

["Reward for Diana: Limiter range expanded."]

["Reward for Arthur: Fishman Karate."]

["Reward for Barry: Ant-Man Suit."]

["Reward for Clark Kent: Ki Blast."]

Some people found new items appear beside them, while others had new knowledge implanted directly into their minds.

["The Hellbat Armor originates from a parallel universe within DC. It was created by Batman to battle Darkseid, making it the strongest armor ever crafted. The design was so complex it required the cooperation of several Justice League heroes."]

["Clark forged the armor's shell on a star, Arthur quenched it in the depths of the ocean, Diana enchanted it atop Olympus, Green Lantern created the energy cape, Barry linked it to the Speed Force, while Cyborg and his father, Dr. Silas Stone, designed the circuitry. Other heroes contributed as well. Only through this teamwork could the ultimate armor be created."]

["With this armor, that universe's Batman was able to go toe-to-toe with Darkseid. However, it requires an immense amount of energy. Once the backup energy is depleted, it begins consuming the wearer's life force. Wearing it means being prepared to die."]

["Fishman Karate is a martial art from the One Piece universe, originating from the Fishmen race. Though it resembles human karate in form, its greatest feature is the ability to manipulate water in combat — not just from the environment but also within the atmosphere and opponent's body, enabling internal damage."]

["The second-generation Ant-Man suit comes from the Marvel Universe, developed by Dr. Hank Pym. It utilizes Pym Particles to shrink the wearer down to the size of an ant for special missions. Despite shrinking, the user's strength remains — and due to insect physiology, their attacks pack devastating power. The suit can also grow to gigantic proportions. Just be cautious not to shrink to subatomic size, or you may never return."]

["The Ki Blast is a signature move of the Crane School from the Dragon Ball universe. By channeling internal Ki, the user can unleash a powerful energy wave. The technique causes tremendous damage, and its power can be increased by sacrificing life force — making it a double-edged sword."]

Diana couldn't help smiling after hearing this.

She clearly understood what an expanded limiter meant — her potential would increase significantly. That meant she still had a long road of growth ahead.

To be honest, compared to relying on powerful weapons, Diana preferred to hone her own strength. Becoming stronger through her own power was the best outcome for her!

After the screen finished speaking, Bruce Wayne realized what kind of ultimate armor he had just received.

Completely black in color, with red, bat-shaped crystals on the face and chest, and a pair of black bat wings on the back — it looked incomparably imposing and cool!

"So this was designed by another me in a parallel universe and built with the help of multiple heroes?"

After his initial shock, Bruce immediately started processing the information.

What caught his attention most were the words "Cyborg," "Green Lantern," and "Justice League."

Green Lantern was probably the same as the Green Lantern Corps Diana once mentioned. But who was Cyborg? Did he exist in this world? And Dr. Stone — that name sounded familiar. He would need to investigate further.

And what exactly was the "Justice League"? It sounded like a coalition of superheroes. That fit very well with Bruce's ideals.

But then there was another problem: who exactly was Darkseid? Why would someone go to such lengths to create an armor just to fight him?

"Darkseid! You're involved with Darkseid?!"

Diana suddenly turned toward Bruce with a look of shock.

"You know who that is?"

Bruce immediately asked.

"Yes. He's mentioned in ancient Amazonian records. A dark god of the multiverse. If the Olympians — Zeus and the Twelve Gods — once ruled Earth, then Darkseid is a god who has ruled countless universes."

As she spoke about Darkseid, Diana's expression turned solemn, and a cold sweat trickled down her cheek.

"What?! A god who rules countless universes?!"

Not only Bruce, but Clark Kent, Barry, and Arthur were also stunned.

"Hey, you're not making this up, are you?" Arthur questioned skeptically.

But Diana merely gave him a pointed look.

"This is something Atlantis is aware of as well. In ancient times, during Darkseid's invasion, the Amazons, humans, and the Green Lantern Corps once fought him off together."

"Wait! Didn't you say before that Earth was invaded by aliens in ancient times? Those so-called gods — you meant him?!"

Bruce was struggling to process all the information, utterly shocked.

"That's right. But back then, Darkseid was not yet fully developed. Only because of that were the ancient allied forces able to repel him," Diana explained.

She then turned her gaze to the Hellbat Armor.

"If this armor can truly fight against Darkseid, then Bruce Wayne, you've just acquired a weapon capable of standing against multiversal gods!"

Hissss!

Bruce gasped sharply at that.

He originally thought he had just received a powerful piece of tech — but he hadn't expected it to be that powerful, reaching multiversal levels.

The idea that another version of himself had designed such a terrifying suit made him question his own identity.

Was that person still even human?

How could they both be Batman, and yet so far apart?

Diana ignored Bruce's disbelief and stared at the Hellbat Armor with a strange glint in her eyes. If that thing allowed Bruce to surpass her…?

Absolutely not!

Her pride would never allow it. She had to get stronger!

At the same time, a strange excitement welled up inside her — a desire to see Bruce put on the armor and fight her. She wanted to gauge how far she was from someone capable of standing up to Darkseid.

"Are you really human? You designed something that terrifying?" Arthur couldn't help but gape at Bruce.

"I'm 100% human."

Bruce nodded seriously, wiping the sweat from his brow. But in his heart, he couldn't help but think:

That version of me… is he really still human?

"Compared to you, my Fishman Karate doesn't seem that impressive. I tried it just now — it's strong, sure, but not like that."

Arthur grumbled a bit, part envy and part resignation.

"Can you show us?" Bruce asked, curiosity overcoming everything else.
