After a while, someone from the General Mansion arrived, it was the old general from Zhen Nan Pass who came personally. He had heard that Durin encountered an assassin and felt that even though he was old, he ought to show his face.
Durin didn't really mind, as he had experienced far more dangerous situations in his life, and this bit of concern didn't bother him.
But in situations like this, how do you say it, you can't just disregard others' kindness, and more importantly, you can't refuse it. It's like carrying a sedan chair; everyone needs to work together, that's essentially what Durin always meant by saying "strive for common glory".
The old general also noticed the elder from the Liu Family and his grandson, and he seemed a bit surprised, "Old Liu, is this your..." Obviously, he had met Liu Family's grandchildren before, but not often, and he probably didn't recognize this particular one.
