I'd say I've been here for around a couple of days, and I think I was settling in nicely with my new reality. And I'm already tired of fucking team CRDL and their bullshit. So much so, that with their fucking collage frat boy attitude's, I had taken it upon myself to force an issue out of the way before it could rear its ugly head.
Luckily, the most he's done to my team's leader is knocking his books out of his hands every now and again. The rest were easily prevented with a singular hard stare at him, something I'm glad to have inherited from Vergil, the sharp looks.
"Jaune." The blond boy startled as we left class, freezing in place for a second before turning around, "Ms. Sparda!" I tilted my head, inspecting his rather timid form, while feeling Pyrrha watching us.
"Come with me." I walked past, looking at Prryha Directly and nodding my head in a away to beckon her over. We walked through the hall, through I ignored his attempts at small talk… Now that I think about it, he never once tried to flirt with me. I don't think I'm that intimidating.
I finally stopped walking as I reached the edge of the roof, Jaune having stopped beside me and Pyrrha staying hidden behind the door. I let the silence sit between us, waiting for him to say something.
"Ms. Sparda, I know I'm going through a hard time right now, but I'm not that depressed." There we go, exactly what I wanted to hear. "I can always be a farmer or something." I raised my hand in a universal wait motion before the smitten girl could rush in here and potentially cause cannon to continue like it is.
"You're being bullied." He flinched, waving me off and droning on and on about how Cardin wasn't a bully. "You didn't go to combat school." Both Pyrrha and Jaune froze, him in fear and her in shock.
I pinched his lips before he could say a thing, not wanting to deal with the dumbass self deprivation bullshit. "You can try and say what you want, and before that. Let me speak." He tried to say something else, but I just gave him the patented Vergil Sparda glare.
"Ozpin knows."
Jaune stopped again, this time entirely from shock.
"He's an old man, Jaune, and he's very observant." I let go, stepping back to the ledge. "If he's let you in, it's because he sees something in you." I pointed with my thumb at the glowing green lights far away behind me. "Something you can't see in yourself, a Leader."
"Why else would he let you through with Fake Transcripts? Why else would you be going to classes?"
Jaune paused, attempting to say anything, but unable to come up with the words.
"Now, you're severely lacking. Like me, you didn't go to combat school, you didn't pass any tests, and you earned your spot at this academy."
*Click*
"But as you are now, you have no Power."
*Bang*
"Woah! Hey!"
I ignored him, instead pulling Ebony out and firing next to his feet. This reminds me of Uncle Dante frighting Jester to be honest, that one cutscene where Jester is dancing and all that.
*Click*
I stopped firing, the boy sweaty and breathing hard from the quick use of his stamina.
"You gotta work on your endurance, and your fighting skills." He fell onto his ass, collecting himself and letting his self-doubt emerge his own "Need to do this my self!" bullshit. I was really tempted to kick him, rock his shit.
"No, you don't. Shut up with the self-doubt hatred Deadweight." I looked to Pyrrha, who finally chose now to get onto the roof. "Pyrrha here can teach you everything you need to know." Both startled at that and went into full on panic mode.
"Well, Deadweight? Do you still wanna be deadweight?" I fixed a glare on Jaune again. "Then stop with the macho man shtick. You have a team, and a team works together." I turned to the door.
"Get your head out of your ass and work on your faults with Pyrrha. I'm going to check on your progress later." The door shut behind me as I walked with purpose to my room.

I walked past Ozpin, He stood tall with a knowing glint in his eye. I stopped just short of 2 steps away from him, letting the air settle as he sipped at his mug. "I do wonder how you knew." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. And while he said it out loud in such away that it seemed reminiscing.
And I considered how I should respond, I pulled my book out, something that's stayed close to my heart and in my clothes for a long while.
I put it away and walked on.

The weeks afterward kind of… Blurred together.
Wake up at 4:30 AM next to Beryl when Pyrrha started to stir from her alarm, swap out for Ebony and Ivory.
Ignore Jaune's groaning and get up myself, change into my outfit for the day.
Jaune and Pyrrha had early breakfast, showered, and then left me alone at the table reading from my book of poems around 5:15 AM.
At around 5:45 I woke up Ren, let him get ready and then poked Nora. The energetic girl causing chaos all around as she started her morning routine.
6:30 Jaune and Pyrrha come back, one absolutely glowing and the other looking dead on his feet. Though, mid-way through, he started looking less and less like a corpse as he got used to the new routine.
We all had around an Hour before the cafeteria opened up for breakfast, and each of us took that moment to just relax in silence.
Nora elected to leaned against Ren, quietly blabbing his ear off about her dream.
Jaune laid across his bed, groaning from sore muscles, and Pyrrha watched over him with a smile.
I sat by the jukebox, selecting songs for the whole hour.
Then at 7:15, we left for the Cafeteria to eat our breakfast.
8 O'clock was Prof. Port was teaching us about Grimm and Military Strategy.
9:45 was Dr. Oobleck's class was History and Legends of Remnant. Normally it would end at 11:15 for Ms. Peach's Plant Sciences or as I called it 'Survival' training, but could sometimes run till Lunch at 12:30.
1:30 to 2:15 was for Ms. Greene's Stealth and Security class. Hunters did a number of odd jobs, and having to either sneak into or guard places were some of them.
After Ms. Greene's class, everyone was let out for break.
Then came 4:00, my favourite class in Beacon.
Mr. Mulberry's class, Weapon Crafting and Upkeep.
5:00 was generally dedicated to 'Self-Directed Sparring' which meant that the floor was open and Ms. Goodwitch was watching.
Jaune and Pyrrha had made good use of it when I got around to pushing them to actually using the area after noticing that basically none of the first years stuck around there. And it drastically helped Jaune improved when some Senpai's decided to take him under their wing.
Though I was generally with Ozpin during that time, the man having taken a vested interest in me for one reason or another.
Then at 6 Sharp was dinner.

"Again."
I begrudgingly lifted myself off the floor. Mind you, the entire reason I'm in this predicament is to try to engage my Devil Trigger.
"I loathe you, I hope you know that."
Despite not want to, I sneered at the old man down my nose as I came to rest. Standing at the ready with Rebellion tip down on the floor and tempted to Rev and engine that wasn't there.
Ozpin hummed, watching me stand to full height and straighten my back. He had a steady hand and steadier time fighting.
I dashed forward, Rebellion slicing through the floor and up, while Gintarou rolled across the ground. Each strike from my blade clashed against his cane and sent sparks flying. If it wasn't for the fact that it was magically enhanced, I'm pretty sure Unc's sword would've cleaved the man by now.
"Eviscerate!"
Ginatrou emerged behind Ozpin, jaw wide open and ready to chomp him- Gintarou exploded from the flurry of blows and I was sent back, hit on my head, stomach shins and thighs. I rolled against the ground, Beryl appearing in my hands for a moment before I swapped her out to Ebony and Ivroy.
Ozpin was fast, not so fast that I couldn't see his moves, but he had a tendency to speed things up at just the right moment to take me by surprise.
"Dammit!" I rushed again, this time unleashing a veritable hell of lead that he blocks with easy and- "Oh you copycat-" I rolled to the side, staying on my feet as he sent the bullets back at me. "Stinger!" I lunged at him, blade glowing with orange light-
My blade slid off his cane as his Aura engaged, blocking the slight nick on his cheek. "Game~" I sun as I slowed to a stop, letting my exhaustion seep into my bones.
"Very good. Miss Sparda. Very good." He smiled, resting himself against his cane. I pushed my bangs back up, moving the long hair away from my mouth and out of my eyes with a sigh.
"Thanks headmaster." I bowed to him, thanking him for his time as my scroll started blaring Red Like Roses. "I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today."
"You've improved well, Miss Sparda." He adjusted his glasses while walking toward me. "I am interested in that other weapon I saw, though. Care to share with the class." And I had slipped up today, for the first time mind you, but the thought of filling his smirking ass full of 20mm was too enticing to ignore in the moment.
"Beryl… Something I've had with me a long time." Recent nights gave me more memories. Sporadic and un-order as they were. Apparently, when I purchase a new weapon, I'll remember myself getting it.
Like this beauty being left to me by my mother, luckily the orphanage I was left at respected my mother's wishes and gave me that letter on my 16th Birthday. Right in time for me to basically age out and go around looking to make a life for myself.
"And why'd you choose to not use it when dealing with the Grimm?" That was a valid question, why wouldn't I use something like my 20mm Anti-Tank rifle that could penetrate more than its original version could on virtue of being enhanced via my own demonic power.
"The Beowolf's were an Empusa Rank enemy, not something, my Darling~ Should be wasted on." Oz snorted, used to my weird comparisons after weeks of private fighting lessons. The entire reason he even agreed was because I mentioned checking his house of Cards.
I don't know if Alphonse further interfered with the world or not, but Ozpin and Qrow who latter thanked me in person over video call, found Leonardo lacking and started feeding the man false information after a test of OP-SEC failing on behalf of Leonardo's watch.
Mixed in with some real intel, they managed to avoid Salem, but still. Oz said he owed me on for this, and I collected… Whether he wanted me for the Maiden powers or not? I dunno.
"Well, far be it from me to keep you from your team… Enjoy dinner, I heard they're making steak tonight." He gave me a pat on the back before I power walked to the elevator, already feeling the hunger pangs hit and ready to elegantly chow down on some meat before sleeping.
