Inside the chain dome, Yoora could barely breathe.
The air had become too hot, and her arms were already shaking from holding her chains up for so long. She could feel it—her mana was running out. Her body felt heavy, her head dizzy, and her heart was pounding so fast it almost hurt.
'I don't get it,' she thought, blinking fast to stay focused. 'I shouldn't even be standing. My mana pool isn't that big… how did I last this long?'
Her legs buckled slightly as she lowered herself, panting hard. The chain walls above her creaked and groaned with each explosion outside, chunks of dust and heat leaking through.
Still, she didn't give up.
She bit her lip and reached inside again, calling out to her chains with what little mana she had left.
"I just need a bit more," she whispered.
