After the last [Chakra Fusion Seal] got destroyed with a bang, Ryu prepared a fresh seal and stored a combination of lightning and wind chakra this time. He placed a few random test objects inside the barrier to observe the effects of the seal on them during this experiment.
"Okay, all set now." Ryu said. "Let's activate it and see what happens."
Ryu activates the seal remotely, confident in his distance from the barriers, expecting a controlled and predictable outcome.
But in life, things never go as planned. However, the unexpected is not always bad. Even NASA's space program came into existence because something unexpected happened in a lab where a bunch of Caltech students burnt their dorms while experimenting with explosives, like what Ryu is doing now with [Chakra Fusion Seal]. And just like those Caltech students, Ryu was going to find something amazing in here as well.
A sudden, intense blast of a magnetic storm occurred, creating violent magnetic winds that shattered the barrier near the test dummy. Nearby metal tools, test dummies, and things he randomly placed inside the barrier were violently thrown outward from the blast centre. The other barrier also shattered, sending debris flying in all directions with chaotic momentum.
"Whoa!" Ryu shouted as he quickly ducked and dodged to avoid the barrage of flying tools and debris.
The magnetic-wind blast continued to grow in intensity, making Ryu realise that he may have underestimated the power of this seal.
The blast of wind chakra quickly reversed direction after breaking the last barrier and reaching the end of the workshop, pulling all the metal debris back towards the seal. Ryu dodged the flying debris again.
The explosion then imploded where it originated, causing all the metal objects to collide and compress tightly into a ball that floated in the air. When the chakra in the debris was exhausted, the ball of iron fell, making a loud noise.
As the chaos settled, Ryu, who was hiding behind a sturdy wooden table, looked at the aftermath and said, "Woah! That was diabolical."
"And awesome," he added with sparkling eyes.
Inside the main house, Dan and others felt a slight magnetic pull affecting the movement of all the metal objects present, causing a sense of unease and curiosity among them. The pull was weak because of the distance, but everyone felt it. The electricity also went off in that nearby area. The ANBU stationed near the home also experienced the power outage and weak magnetic pull.
One ANBU asked, "Did you feel that strange pull?"
Another ANBU responded, "Yeah, it was like someone tried to grab my weapons pouch."
ANBU replied, "Maybe the kid is doing some kind of experiment. We should mention the incident in our report."
Other ANBU said, "I will go report to Lord Hokage."
Inside the workshop, Ryu peeks out from behind the table, closely observing the peculiar ball of metal. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before.
Ryu thought, "Just as I thought…the result was... [Magnet Release-Kekkei Genkai]."
Ryu looked around more at the destruction and said, " The explosion of the wind and then the strong magnetic pull... I definitely need to run more tests and see the limits of the seal."
He smiled at his explosive success and surveyed the chaotic state of his lab that he himself had made. When he approached the ball of iron debris and attempted to remove a piece, he discovered that they were all magnetically connected, which supported his suspicion. Ryu knew he had stumbled upon something groundbreaking and potentially dangerous.
Ryu sighed and said, "That was dangerous. Good thing I did not fill the area with too many metal objects, or it could have been worse."
Before now, Ryu had only modified already existing seals apart from the [Healing Seal] and [Chakra Backup Seal]. But what Ryu has created now is a one-of-a-kind seal in this world. It is so powerful that it has the potential to change everything.
- [Wind Explosion – Magnetic Implosion – Seal]: A variant of the [Chakra-Fusion Seal] that stores wind and lightning chakra in the seal in a 50-50 ratio and fuses them together upon triggering to imitate [Magnet Release-Kekkei Genkai]. It can cause a strong magnetic storm and then a strong magnetic implosion, attracting everything made of ferromagnetic materials in its range.
Ryu thought, "Should I try with different ratios of chakra?"

He had already tried 50 % of Wind and Lightning chakra; the result was an explosion-implosion, and everything metal caught under its range of initial wind explosion was magnetised, and then all of the magnetised stuff imploded back into the blast centre. Ryu now wanted to try with a 20% and 80% ratio of wind-lightning chakra.
Ryu made many copies of the seal in the next half hour to try the different permutations possible with his current affinity, which he was good at. He carefully placed each seal on various objects around him, making sure to stand at a safe distance before activating them.
He first ties 20% wind chakra and 80% lightning. He placed the seal on a dummy after storing the chakra in a location with numerous barriers at a distance to protect the surroundings.
Ryu activated the seal, and all the metal objects very near the seal went flying towards the dummy. There was no explosion of wind this time or implosion, but everything ferromagnetic in close proximity moved towards the seal and hit the dummy with a strong force.
Ryu said, "It's as if the dummy itself is supermagnetised. However, the dummy does not consist of ferromagnetic metals."
The potential for chaos and destruction was overwhelming. Ryu shuddered at the thought of super-magnetising his enemies in a battlefield filled with shuriken and kunais. It would be a bloodbath.
Ryu said, "I will call this [Super-Magnetising Seal]. I have to experiment more, but I think I can magnetise my enemies with this."
- [Super-Magnetising Seal]: A variant of the [Chakra-Fusion Seal] that stores wind and lightning chakra in the seal in a 20-80 ratio and fuses them together upon triggering to imitate [Magnet Release-Kekkei Genkai]. It can temporarily magnetise any target, ferromagnetic materials or otherwise, that is connected to the seal.
"Let's test more combinations." Ryu said, determined to explore the full potential of the seal.
Ryu again experimented with the opposite combination of 20% lightning and 80% wind, resulting in a wave of wind explosions. However, this time, there was no implosion, unlike when he used a 50-50 ratio of wind-lightning chakra. But when Ryu observed the things that were in the range of the wind, he realised that everything caught under the wind explosion was weakly magnetic.

Ryu smiled confidently and remarked, "Now I have a few aces up my sleeve. Mastering [Magnet Release] and [Explosion Release] could be game-changing if I handle them correctly."
Ryu said, "I have three variants of the same seal related to Magnet Release. I will experiment and find all variants of Explosion Release later."
There was so much to experiment with, but he was out of his overclocking time and had clicked out after creating the second seals with a 20-80 chakra fusion ratio. Ryu was excited to see the potential of combining different chakra natures and replicating the effects of Kekkei Genkai. He couldn't wait to see what other combinations he could come up with in the future.
Following his morning experiments, Ryu went for breakfast with Dan before he could head to the academy.
Dan asked him, "What was that explosion earlier? Are you being careful with your experiments?"
Ryu told Dan, "Yes, 'Safety First' is my motto when I am in a lab. I developed some interesting seals today."
"What happened, Ryu?" Dan asked, his voice filled with worry. "What kind of seal did you discover? Did you modify the explosive seal for a bigger, more powerful explosion?"
Ryu replied excitedly, "Naa, not yet. I did something even better, Grandpa; you won't believe it!"
Dan thought, "Then what was that big explosion? There is no way that was a simple explosion."
Ryu said, "Those explosive seals I was analysing were only for their trigger mechanisms so that I could apply them to other seals better."
Dan said, "But other seals also have them."
Ryu replied, "Yes, but I want to improve upon them for better control."
"That sounds like a great idea," Dan stated, nodding while focusing on Ryu. "So...what sort of seal did you make that causes an explosion but isn't an explosive seal?"
"Well," Ryu continued, "after I figured out how those remote, delayed, and proximity triggers work, I got curious. I modified my [Chakra Backup Seal] and created two new variants of it. I'm calling them [Chakra Fusion Seals]."
Dan was stunned.
