"If you want to save Ace, you'll have to defeat me first! Otherwise, stay here today!" Arashi slowly raised his head, speaking in a cold tone.

Though calm, his voice sent a chill down everyone's spine, making them tense up involuntarily.

There was no doubt — the pressure this legendary Admiral brought was unimaginable.

Even the Four Emperors feared him deeply. Some had even set aside their pride to join forces.

"Oh?" Whitebeard sighed softly, eyes locking onto the man before him.

"You might as well fight together with Red-Hair! Otherwise, this war will be far too dull," Arashi said plainly.

Those words changed the expressions of tens of thousands in an instant. Whitebeard's pupils contracted, a flicker of anger sparking in his eyes.

Shanks silently stepped forward, standing by his side, his expression dark as night.

The boldness of those words wasn't just arrogance—it was sheer confidence and disdain.

"Gurararara! You've become a real pain in the ass, brat!" Whitebeard gripped his naginata and was about to charge.

But suddenly, sunlight reflected off the sky in seven dazzling colours, causing him to pause. Beside him, Shanks also looked up, eyes showing a trace of surprise.

"Ahhhhh!!" A sharp scream echoed from afar, rapidly growing louder. Marines and pirates alike widened their eyes, staring at a black dot falling from the sky.

"What is that? Someone's falling!"

"Its a battleship too! Is it one of ours?" Cries of surprise spread through the battlefield.

Everyone was stunned by the sudden turn of events. Then, as figures began dropping like dumplings from the sky, the crowd recognised them.

"Luffy?!" Shanks's previously grim expression instantly shifted to one of shock.

Whitebeard's gaze turned, and he jolted when he spotted one familiar figure among the chaos.

"Shanks!!!" Luffy, falling from the sky, pressed his straw hat onto his head. His eyes widened in delight when he saw the familiar man before him.

"Silvers Rayleigh! Long time no see! I can't believe you're here!" Whitebeard also spoke solemnly, staring at the white-haired old man behind Luffy.

"It has been a long time," Rayleigh smiled as he looked at Luffy. "But our arrival might be good news for you."

"Vice Captain?!" Shanks exclaimed in shock as he looked at Rayleigh.

"Shanks," Rayleigh nodded, scanning the battlefield.

His gaze turned serious upon seeing Arashi and the many Marines ahead. "This isn't the time to explain! I came here to protect the hope of the New World."

"I'm placing all my hopes on Luffy." Taking a deep breath, Rayleigh looked at Shanks and Whitebeard.

"Let's work together! Behind Luffy are prisoners who just escaped from Impel Down—some are from the Revolutionary Army!"

"His goal is to rescue his brother, Fire Fist Ace."

"We share that same goal." Rayleigh sputtered, yet everything was clear.

"Revolutionaries?" Whitebeard narrowed his eyes and looked again at Luffy. He was curious—how could this kid inspire Rayleigh to come out of hiding?

Not to mention, the people surrounding him weren't ordinary.

"You all seem a bit short on manpower," Rayleigh smiled.

"With your help, Vice Captain, the pressure will ease a lot," Shanks replied seriously. He understood the odds weren't in their favour—there were too many Marine powerhouses.

Even after breaking the first line of defence, Ace was still far from being saved. "Alright," Rayleigh nodded. The group then sprang into action.

"Luffy, go! Save Ace!!" Ivankov shouted.

"Yeah!" Luffy laughed and charged toward the execution platform.

--Elsewhere on the battlefield--

"Luffy!!" Zoro shouted with wide eyes, filled with excitement.

"He's surrounded by powerful allies," Bartholomew Kuma said solemnly.

"I'm going to help him!" Zoro said. Kuma stayed silent, simply watching Zoro charge into the crowd and vanish.

Meanwhile, Rayleigh quickly reached Marco's side and drew his sword. "Go do what you must."

"I'll handle this one!" He blocked Bullet's fierce punch with his blade and smiled.

Marco was shocked, but Rayleigh nodded calmly. Then he turned his full focus to Bullet.

"At your age, you're still jumping into this mess?" Bullet sneered coldly.

"Just using the last of my strength to help the younger generation," Rayleigh smiled.

"Hmph!" Bullet scoffed, though his gaze grew serious—he knew Rayleigh's terrifying power well.

Seeing their clash, Marco breathed in relief and soared toward the execution platform.

"Ace's little brother, huh? He really brought some powerful help!" Marco smiled.

He could see Luffy and his group pushing forward rapidly from the sky. Whitebeard and Red-Hair were close behind.

"Arashi's no longer guarding the platform. Maybe there's a chance to break through!" Marco's eyes narrowed.

He made a swift decision, flapping his wings hard and speeding toward the platform.

He was nearly past Arashi's position in the sky in a blink. Then his expression drastically changed.

A towering, menacing figure suddenly appeared in his path. "The place I stand is an unbreakable wall. Trying to sneak past? How naive of you, Marco!" The deep voice made Marco's skin crawl.

"Arashi!!!"

In the next instant, lightning seemed to explode before him. A rock-hard fist smashed into Marco's face.

Boom! He crashed into the ground, carving out a massive crater. It took a long time before he staggered to his feet, blood dripping down his face.

The world spun in front of him. Spitting blood, he held his twisted neck in pain.

"So terrifying!" That one punch had bent his head sideways. There were few people in the world with such overwhelming strength.

It felt like the bones in his neck had snapped—he'd need braces and bandages for a long time. But on this battlefield, he had to endure.

He groaned and forced his neck upright again. But his whole body was trembling slightly from the pain.

"How to get past that guy… might be the hardest part of this war." Marco quickly realised the truth.

He ignited himself in blue flames again and flapped his wings, retreating quickly.

Arashi didn't pursue—arms folded, his gaze turned forward again.

He stared at the two figures cutting down Marines left and right with overwhelming force.

"With me here, you won't take another step forward," he said calmly. Every pirate nearby felt their faces turn grim.

"Gurararara! You sure think highly of yourself, brat!" Whitebeard roared, leaping high with his naginata.

Boom! A quake blast with a blade strike sent Vice Admirals like Dalmatian and Stainless flying.

"This war was doomed from the moment it began," Arashi spoke coldly.

"But the outcome isn't decided yet!" Shanks replied with a deep voice. As he spoke, he slashed with his longsword.

Buzz! A wave of force that seemed to split the sky shot forward, sending many Marines flying.

With two Emperors working together, almost no one could stop their advance.

Others held back Kizaru and Aokiji and couldn't react in time.

Even with morale surging from Arashi's devastating attacks, the Marines couldn't hide their fear in the face of the two Emperors.

On the other side, Akainu slowly stood up from his seat. "Admiral Akainu is moving!!"

"I get it now—Arashi and Admiral Akainu are about to team up against the Emperors!"

"With their combined strength, they should be able to keep Whitebeard and Shanks firmly blocked beyond the second defensive line!" a Marine said excitedly.

But upon hearing this, the expression on Sengoku's face darkened. Anyone aware of the tension between the two Admirals would never be so naïve.

In a war like this, the best-case scenario was that they simply wouldn't stab each other in the back.

Whitebeard and Shanks, watching the situation unfold, exchanged glances, their eyes glinting sharply.

Just then, Akainu flashed by like a gust of wind, brushing past Arashi and charging straight toward the two Emperors.

"You may fear their power, but I don't!" he roared. "As I expected over these ten years, your resolve and strength have both weakened inside Impel Down!"

That light remark reached Arashi's ears, making him pause briefly before letting out a mocking laugh. "Everyone, clear a path!" Akainu bellowed.

"Whitebeard and Shanks—I'll deal with them myself!" His words sent a wave of excitement through the Marines.

Those standing close to Whitebeard quietly sighed in relief and quickly retreated, clearing the way.

Akainu charged ahead with enormous strides, his face cold and crazed, his killing intent completely unrestrained.

"The so-called legendary Marine Arashi… the so-called rulers of the sea, strongest and most dominant men in the world? What a joke! Today, I'll tear off your false masks and show the world the truth beneath them!"

The sound of his footsteps echoed clearly through the skies above Marineford.

"Even if I can take one down, it'll be worth it!" Whitebeard and Shanks both smiled faintly. In that instant, the two made a decision.

The next second, their bodies transformed into streaks of light, shooting forward at astonishing speed. In a blink, they soared over Luffy's head.

"So fast!!" Luffy exclaimed, eyes wide with shock.

Their movements were no longer mere dashes—they leapt and bounded across hundreds of meters with each motion.

Instantly, they closed the gap with Akainu. With the Marines willingly clearing a path, nothing stood in their way.

"If that kid dares to underestimate us like you do," Whitebeard sneered as he landed with a heavy thud, now only thirty meters from Akainu, "this war will be even easier!"

He bent his legs again, shattering the ground beneath him, and launched high into the air. His enormous frame looked like a drawn bow mid-flight.

Gripping the naginata Murakumogiri tightly, he summoned shockwaves to coil along the blade. Then came an invisible force—Armament Haki.

Zzzt! Black and red lightning burst forth, the surrounding air freezing. That overwhelming aura fused completely with the blade.

Below, a flash of light streaked past—it was Shanks. His speed outmatched even Whitebeard's as he instantly crossed over a kilometre.

Brandishing his sabre, he slashed forward. "Divine Departure!!!" A blinding light erupted. The world seemed to split beneath his peerless, fierce strike.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye. Akainu's pupils shrank as an overwhelming pressure surged toward him.

The sky and ground were sealed off. He was completely locked in by the killing intent of the two Emperors, with no room to dodge or retreat.

"Then I'll take you head-on!!!" Akainu roared, eyes wide, magma bubbling from his body.

The entire battlefield fell still as the clash approached. Countless onlookers raised their heads in disbelief.

On the execution platform, Sengoku was sweating, his fists clenched as he shouted furiously, "Akainu, are you trying to get yourself killed?!"

Ace stared intently at the centre of the battlefield. Arashi stood with his arms crossed, completely calm.

He didn't even glance at the impending clash of top-tier titans.

Instead, his eyes focused on someone approaching quickly from the side—Straw Hat Luffy.

Compared to the elite battle, this rookie commands more of his attention.

Under the gaze of the world, light flashed in the sky. Swoosh! Shanks' slash reached Akainu in a heartbeat.

"Divine Departure!" An indescribably fierce blow shattered Akainu's confidence in an instant.

"Hellhound!!!" Even with Observation Haki fully activated, he couldn't predict the sword's path.

Akainu's eyes widened in disbelief—he realised he'd been outclassed in Observation Haki. Shanks had mastered it to an unfathomable level.

Boom!

The Divine Departure collided with Akainu's magma punch, sparks flew, and magma scattered. Invisible shockwaves burst outward in every direction.

The wind howled overhead. The sky itself seemed to shift in colour.

Zzzt!

Lightning flickered at the centre of the collision. Akainu's expression shifted; Shanks' face was grim, eyes filled with deadly intent.

Suddenly, Shanks took a step back—but Akainu felt no relief. Instead, his heart sank.

He looked up slowly—facing him now was a massive naginata, wrapped in shockwaves.

Wherever the blade touched, the space cracked, lightning flashing black and red. The pressure made even his neck freeze—he couldn't lift his head.

"Whitebeard... Newgate!!!" Akainu growled through clenched teeth, his face twisted.

He was now facing a combined, premeditated, and utterly inescapable strike from both Emperors.

BOOM!!!

The naginata, brimming with shockwaves and black-red lightning, smashed down directly on his head.

Rumble! Crackle!

The air itself vibrated and split apart. The shockwaves surged outward from Akainu's head, tearing the ground inch by inch.

Marineford trembled violently. Buildings cracked and toppled.

"Admiral Akainu!!" someone screamed in panic.

As the quake hit, they saw Akainu right at the heart of the impact. His head and face twisted grotesquely, almost spiralling like a whirlpool.

Whitebeard's enormous weapon had slammed him into the earth with overwhelming force.

Then, KRA-KRA-KRACK, the ground at the strike zone split apart, spreading rapidly forward. In the blink of an eye, a massive chasm formed, threatening to split Marineford in two.

"This is the power of the Emperors?"

"Whitebeard!!! Edward Newgate!!"

That instant clash revealed to the entire world the terror of the crescent-bearded old man.

The broadcast crew trembled violently, gasping repeatedly. Across the globe, countless people clenched their fists, forgetting even to breathe.

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE!

The quake raged for a long while before gradually settling.

All eyes turned to the scene—Whitebeard stood at the edge of the abyss, back turned to the crowd.

He thumped his naginata to the ground with a resounding thud. Shanks pointed his sabre at the earth, then slowly turned his back.

The two stood shoulder to shoulder, their presence suffocating. Who in the world could challenge them when they joined forces?

Then, everyone noticed where their gazes were fixed—straight ahead, at the man standing calmly with his arms crossed, his expression blank.

It was the legendary Marine, Arashi.
