"Speak," Zhou Mikang poured himself a glass of water, casually looking at Chuxia with the air of someone all ears. Clearly, he thought she was just throwing a little tantrum.
Chuxia fixed her gaze directly on him, "Do you believe in ghosts and gods?"
Zhou Mikang shook his head, "No!"
"Do you believe people have souls?" Chuxia asked again.
After a slight hesitation, Zhou Mikang shook his head again, "Not sure."
"What would you think if I told you they do?"
"I'd believe you."
"Really?" Chuxia raised her eyebrows, "Are you humoring me or do you really believe me?"
"Of course, I believe you," Zhou Mikang looked at her earnestly, "Nothing is absolute. My understanding may not necessarily be correct.
