Chapter 150 - The five strongest of all time

The book that Envy gave me was very interesting. It talked about five entities that surpassed all others—known as the five strongest of all time.

First, there was the Evil Goddess, who had spent her entire life being exploited, used as nothing more than a pawn by the higher spheres of society. Eventually, she rebelled and led her world to ruin.

She was so broken that she began traveling to different worlds, turning them into survival games for her own amusement. She's only interested in extraordinary things, and anything she finds boring is deemed worthy of destruction.

Even though she doesn't possess power that exceeds the others', she compensates for it with her incredible ability to manipulate anyone to entertain herself.

Then there's the goddess Ex-Machina, who commands the most powerful army in existence—composed of omniscient and omnipotent robots—but she is still weaker than the next three.

The only thing she truly cares about are the inhabitants of the world she created, whom she considers her children. She even shows yandere-like behaviour if anyone tries to harm them.

The third is the Ultimate God, also known as The Absolute. She is the kindest of all and often helps other creator gods who come to her for support. Unfortunately, she was killed by The Epilogue—one of the two remaining entities.

The fourth is the Demon Goddess, who harbours the greatest hatred in existence toward those who are not from her world. She was once a wise leader and believed that everyone deserved redemption, as long as their crimes were not too severe. She still holds this belief—but only for those from her own world.

Her hatred was born from two major incidents: the Hero Incident and the Genocide of the Thousand Gods.

"A question: what were these two major incidents?"

"All the gods know these events, which are what made her so terrifying. The Hero Incident happened when a god tried to eliminate her by sending a hero. The Demon Goddess let him live after a brief warning… but then he did something unforgivable."

She had a very serious expression.

"What's going on?"

"I shouldn't be saying this, but let's just say this was one of the incidents that mentally broke the Demon Goddess the most. The second incident happened only a few months after the Hero Incident. The conclusion of the first was the cruel death of the god who had sent the hero, along with the destruction of the world he had created. Most of the gods became afraid and decided to go after her. Unfortunately, they made the worst mistake possible: they threatened to destroy her world. In response, she slaughtered the thousand gods who came to kill her. She hunted them down without mercy and destroyed their world too—even the one they thought untouchable. She granted no pardon. Shortly after that, she encountered the Evil Goddess and The Absolute."

I had the feeling she wouldn't say anything more, so I decided to continue reading.

The last of the five is The Epilogue, also known as the Destruction God of the End. She is the daughter of the Demon Goddess, born from her union with her preferred wife.

"I'd like to return to one particular fact: although the Demon Goddess claims she treats all her wives equally and marries without showing favoritism, there was one exception—the mother of The Epilogue."

"You seem to know the Demon Goddess well."

"When you're close to one of the Five, you have to understand the other four as well."

Returning to my reading, one day she absorbed an energy so powerful that it had the potential to erase all her emotions, memories, and grant her the power of ultimate destruction. She killed The Absolute, moved on to confront another, and eventually reached the goddess Ex-Machina, who begged her to spare her life.

After her battle with The Absolute, she became strangely curious about the emotion of protection. She began a conversation with Ex-Machina, hoping to understand it better.

In the end, Ex-Machina told her that she would only truly understand once she created a world of her own—something she eventually did, since nothing has been heard from her ever since.
