Chapter 270 - Chapter 270: Ugh, I’m so done with this

"Dad, I'm counting on you to teach me the Flying Thunder God." Naruto stood in front of Minato with a serious expression.

Minato blinked, looking a little confused. "Why do you suddenly want to learn the Flying Thunder God?"

It wasn't that he didn't want to teach Naruto. It was just that he had tried before, and to be honest, Naruto wasn't very talented at it. He had given up early on. So why was he suddenly interested again?

While stirring a pan, Kushina chimed in, "If Naruto wants to learn, just teach him. Oh, right—Naruto, do you want to try Adamantine Sealing Chains too?"

Naruto shook his head. "I've already learned Adamantine Sealing Chains. Now, the only thing I need is Flying Thunder God."

Kushina froze in the middle of cooking, then poked her head out of the kitchen in shock. "When did you learn Adamantine Sealing Chains?"

She had no idea at all.

She had tried to get Naruto to learn it before, but he always found excuses to avoid it. Deep down, he just didn't think sealing jutsu was powerful, so he wasn't interested. But now, not only did he want to learn it—he had already mastered it?

This was a huge surprise for Kushina.

"A long time ago." Naruto chuckled, not giving details. "Anyway, Dad, you're the only one in the ninja world right now who has actual experience learning space-time ninjutsu. That means I can only learn it from you."

It wasn't that Jiraiya was a bad teacher. The problem was that Jiraiya didn't know Flying Thunder God himself. No matter how well he taught, he could only guess at things, which would slow down progress and could even lead Naruto in the wrong direction.

But now that he was in this world and his dad was still alive, he had to take this chance to learn it.

"That's my son, Naruto!" Kushina beamed with pride, completely forgetting about the food on the stove, completely lost in her happiness.

Minato thought for a moment and didn't refuse. "Alright. But to learn the Flying Thunder God, you need to understand summoning jutsu, the Body Flicker Technique, and sealing techniques. Are you familiar with those?"

Naruto nodded, thumping his chest confidently. "Summoning jutsu? That was personally taught to me by Perv—uh, I mean, Jiraiya. I've got that down. As for sealing techniques, well, I managed to learn Adamantine Sealing Chains, so at least I've got the basics covered. The only thing is… I don't use the Body Flicker Technique that much."

Sasuke used it often, but Naruto rarely did. He mostly relied on brute-force chakra bursts to enhance his speed, which was similar to the Body Flicker Technique but not quite the same.

He could use it, but he never really needed to.

Minato's expression turned strange. "When did Jiraiya-sensei ever teach you summoning jutsu?"

Knowing Jiraiya's personality, it seemed unlikely. Given how different their personalities were, Jiraiya would probably dislike training someone like Naruto the most.

"Don't worry

about the small details."

Naruto, who had no idea what Jiraiya in this world was like, waved his hand dismissively and changed the topic. "So, do I need to practice the Body Flicker Technique first?"

"Huh? Oh, right." Minato paused for a second before nodding. "The Body Flicker Technique isn't urgent. You can practice it alongside learning Flying Thunder God. Learning it won't be easy."

After saying that, he glanced toward the kitchen.

Kushina, who was busy saving the burned food, noticed Minato's look and smiled. "It's fine. Go ahead and train. Dinner won't be ready for another half an hour, so just be back by then."

After all, now that the food was burnt, she had to start over.

"Alright then." Minato stood up from the couch and reached out his hand with a smile. "Let's go, Naruto. We'll head to the training ground, and I'll explain everything there."

"I'm counting on you." Naruto grabbed Minato's arm.

Minato chuckled. "Why are you being so formal with your own dad? We're not Uchihas."

Right. He and Fugaku were rivals, after all.

Naruto didn't say anything—he just rolled his eyes internally.

Meanwhile, at Konoha's Third Training Ground, Sasuke stood on a rock with his eyes closed.

The next moment, he suddenly opened them. One eye gleamed with the Tomoe Rinnegan, while the other held the glow of the Mangekyō. As his eyes unleashed their power, Sasuke's figure vanished from sight.

In the distance, his body reappeared.

He turned to look back at where he had just been. A single leaf floated down gently.

Covering his Rinnegan, Sasuke smirked. "I see… the power of space-time. Heaven's Hand… that's the name, right?"

He suddenly found it funny. "Ha, Naruto, I actually got a space-time ninjutsu before you did."

He had to find Naruto and show off—no, he meant share it with his best friend.

Naruto would definitely be happy too.

But Sasuke wasn't just here to get used to his Rinnegan's power.

His smile faded as he closed his eyes again. As his chakra moved, Urashiki's immense power suddenly surfaced. The mark on his shoulder glowed faintly, then expanded, wrapping around him and transforming him into an Ōtsutsuki form.

However, as Sasuke frowned, the power didn't last long. In just ten seconds, it vanished, retreating back into the mark.

Sasuke opened his eyes. "Strange. Wasn't Urashiki's soul sealed? In theory, this power should belong to me now. So why does it consume such a huge amount of chakra every time I try to use it?"

Even though the mark gave Sasuke a big boost, the chakra cost was just as high.

It felt like trading one unit of chakra for only two units of strength. Sasuke had a feeling that wasn't how it was supposed to work.

Shouldn't this thing boost his power without any cost?

So weird.

While Sasuke continued his training, outside Konohagakure, in a vast and empty forest, Kurama's massive body sat in the center, hands together in meditation.

As he absorbed the powerful natural energy around him, black markings slowly spread across his body. His originally orange-red fur gradually turned white. His nine tails gently swayed before wrapping around him like a white robe. Behind him, nine massive Truth-Seeking Orbs slowly formed.

It was strange. He still looked like a fox, yet at the same time, he seemed almost human, dressed in white robes covered with black Sage markings. Even though it was unusual, there was an inexplicable harmony to it, as if this was the way things were meant to be.

Maintaining this state, Kurama slowly stood up, his towering body reaching over a hundred meters high.

He clenched his fist in frustration. "At this rate, even Naruto and Sasuke will be stronger than me. But I feel like my body is still missing something… Hey, old man Sage, don't tell me you're holding out on me!"

Of course, he was only joking. Kurama knew the Sage of Six Paths well enough—if he said he was giving something, he wouldn't hold back.

So what exactly was missing?

Sage of Six Paths' Yang power? Yin power? Reincarnation power? Tailed Beast Sage power? The power of the Sage of Six Paths himself?

But I already have all of those.

Kurama slowly lifted off the ground, suddenly accelerating toward the sky. In an instant, he became a white blur, piercing through the clouds and settling above them, gazing down at the land below.

"Old man Sage, you clearly know what I'm thinking, yet you refuse to tell me. Playing riddles, huh? Aren't you afraid I'll lose my temper and blow up the ninja world?"

With Kurama's current strength, if he unleashed a full-power Tailed Beast Bomb from above the clouds, he might not be able to destroy the entire world, but wiping out half of the continent? That was definitely possible. The ninja world wasn't that big, after all.

If it were the size of the moon, then maybe…

Wait. The moon?

Kurama suddenly looked up. In the endless darkness of space, the moon continued its slow orbit around the Earth.

He took a deep breath, his tone filled with disbelief. "Wait, wait, wait… Old man Sage, don't tell me the thing I'm missing is *that*?"

The Rinne Sharingan? Or the Ten-Tails' husk?

Ugh, I swear, riddlers deserve the worst!
