Chapter 3 - Sibba

The underside of Sibba was wholly unique. No other continent was like it. It was a crystalline, shimmering diamond reaching down towards the abyss. People lived and worked on this side as well. No other continent had such a beehive type honeycomb labyrinth like Sibba's under surface.

Other continents utilized their undersides to some extent but none matched Sibba.

The diamond was filled with passages, caverns, and vast walkways connecting it all together. Different clans of people walked through the space, most working there but a few actually worked there.

From her vantage point on the continent of Playz Rachel had clearly seen people walking within the faceted diamond labyrinth. This was not exactly an easy thing to do since it sparkled brilliantly with the clarity of a top diamond.

Rachel moved her head a bit to allow her hair to cascade down her back. 'Struns we are here'

As soon as the telepathic message left her mind she stepped off the mountain and gracefully walked to Sibba. Her opaque rainbow eyes had a sinister glint and her pace was calm and measured. Rebecca and Cramnal followed her, walking two paces behind: Rebecca to her left, Cramnal to her right. All three were calm and ready for any chalange.

When she met Sibba's defensive shield she merely placed her finger upon it and asked it to allow her, Rebecca, and Cramnal entrance. The shield hummed as if it were processing the request.

All twelve continents had shields that stopped entrance. The shield allowed for anyone to leave freely unless there was war or other various extenuating circumstances, but there was no free entrance into a continent they all had wards and protections to prohibit unknown and dangerous entities. Each individual or group had to ask permission to enter. And each memeber of a group had to be vetted or a single entity had to be vetted to allow that many entities in with them.

As Milana Rachel could enter, and leave, any of the 12 continents without question and with whomever she wanted.

Only the realm could change this law. She actually did not need to ask permission either she and her people could enter freely. The wards recognizing her and her people.

A translucent wall around Sibba shimmered from her touch with a rainbow ripple extending out from her fingertip around the perimeter of the continent. The ripple went and came back. When it came back a portal big enough for one person opened and the three were sucked in like it was a gentle air lock.

The three of them slid through the portal and were released onto the top of one of Sibba's skyscrapers. They had done this so many times before that they did not need to balance or orient themselves. Rachel looked out over the continent. A lot had changed since she was away.

She sighed. Her family always came before her selfish whims so she had not problem helping her sister she just did not like the Milana duty. She did not like being told what she needed to do and how she needed to do it. She had not chosen to be some protector or hero and she did not entend to do what she did not want to do.

And still she knew she would help Trannisa Realm when called. She would just grumble the entire time

.....

When Struns heard Rachel's telepathic message his back automatically straightened and he involuntarily smiled.

He did not move from his position and maintained his surveillance. The air around him rippled like waves of heat above a desert. Rachel appeared first followed by Cramnal then Rebecca.

Rachel was at his side and he allowed her to take over his mind. He felt her look through his eyes, register Anis' condition, formulate a plan, and then calm herself. It all occurred in less than a second.

"Let me speak to her first and then we will proceed." None of the others questioned her decision. The three of them silently waited. All of them knew that Anis would be with them soon.

'Anis? I am here. Cramnal called me be…' Before she could finish there was a reply.

'Come and get me sister! Please!'

Rachel's eyes went from rainbow, to black, to white, to red, and back to black. Her jet black hair lengthened and the rainbow strands became more vibrant.

Suddenly she was on the move. Her cohort had been keenly watching her so they had moved with her almost instantly.

"Struns take the back of the building and come around to meet us. Rebecca release six at levels two at S level and take the right and left flanks and under. Cramnal you are with me"

Her words floated on the wind and were only heard by who she wanted to hear.

She and Cramnal were at the front of the building in a half of an instant. Cramnal extended his hand rainbow ripples moved across the wall before them. Without any hesitation they both walked through the wall and into a long corridor.

Struns was at the back of the building almost before Rachel finished giving out her orders. They did not need more information they only needed their positions. They had fought together so often that it was like breathing and no active thought was truly needed.

Struns ran up the side of the building, his feet creating secure footholds. He took a step forward and entered a corridor. Throwing out his hand wind sliced through the air killing two men in front of him. His leg flung back and caught another in the abdomen. The force rising through the person's body crushing organs and breaking bones. As he died he flew into the woman behind him with such force she was crushed and died before he did.

Struns moved down the corridor toward Rachel and Cramnal.

Rebecca did not enter the building. Rachel telling her where to send her "allies" told her not to enter but to wait outside.

Grey mist poured from her body billowing and coalescing until forms began to emerge. Six beings encircled Rebecca. They gazed at her for a second and moved to their positions. Two went to the right, two to the left, and two to the lower levels of the complex.

Rebecca looked to the top of the building and waited for Rachel's next order.
