The eyes of the Marquis then turned away from his wife's face.
They looked at the nearby rooftop, there was no one to be seen there, only shadows of the large trees surrounding the city. But all this is still in his domain so he can feel the unknown presence hiding in the shadows.

"My lady sent me to give you a message" From the shadows Mart and his assassins appeared without any fear of the weakened Marques Thunder.
Thunder looked at them for a moment, he had sensed them in their battle against Cinder. At that very moment they had entered his domain taking advantage of the fact that he could not concentrate on his borders. They were coming from the eastern region from Thunder's perspective.
