A flock of birds swept over the earth.
They were suddenly hit by the massive killing intent rising from below, turning into a bloody rain with feathers flying everywhere. The surviving birds let out loud wails and flew away.
On the ground below, a large group of black-clad men rushed out from the forest on both sides, attacking a convoy on the main road. The core of this convoy consisted of several luxurious carriages, followed by dozens of supply wagons, with around over two hundred government soldiers guarding them.
However, there were at least several thousand black-clad men emerging from the dense forest, creating a significant numerical disparity between the two sides. Nevertheless, the government soldiers guarding the carriages did not panic. They sounded an alarm, and the front carriages stopped while the rear carriages continued advancing, automatically tightening into a close formation.
