As I go downstairs for dinner I go over everything I learned over the past several hours from the Magic book And these are the highlights Number one the basis of most Spell casting is based around the imagination With the exceptional of body strengthening number two is them due to the sheer amount of concentration and willpower it takes very few people can use Complicated spells and
number three People get around this by using magic items to compensate for their lack of willpower and imagination Magic items on the other hand can be separated into three categories
Number one enchanted items which are Basic magic that has been infused into various objects the ability of the enchanter Is dependent on its efficiency practicality and fuel usage the more competent enchanter is the more complicated the spells and the less the spells cost in some Extremely rare cases they can even cast spells without needing any manner outside of itself
Number two sigil items items with sigils are complicated old magic very few people can Craft them and even fewer people specialize Crafting them it is largely considered to be a lost art
number three The easiest and most commonly available are magic circle items things that have been engraved or drawn on a magic circle Every field of magic has their own unique rooms to them this makes finding each magic circle that you would require very complicated for instance the fire magic circle will have a completely different alphabet than the earth magic circle
I am particularly interested in the magic circles as someone from earth I view them such as Computer code but magical or maybe When something similar to building a Computer circuit

"hamm hamm" Dwarf He's continuing to clear his throat repeatedly
Alex closes his book and looks up at the dwarf plus his book down slowly takes his sip of his beer puts his beer down and asks
"You should really go to the doctor for that sore throat you have" Alex
"You know the reason why I was cleaning my throat right don't joke with me" Dwarf
"So what you want I'm guessing you wanted something with me right" Alex
"My name is Yuzzon Bottlebrew" Yuzzon
"Hello zon My name is Alex Bowman" Alex
Yuzzon visibly gets angry For a second then immediately calms down
"I'm just going to ignore the fact that you just call me zon" Yuzzon
"Good good since you came to me for a conversation When I'm eating and studying" Alex
Alex takes a long loud Slurp of his soup Yuzzon Clearly has a twitch in his right eye
"anyways I saw that you were reading that book i was wondering if you would like to look at the workshop I work at" Yuzzon
"And why should I that sounds like you're going to take me to a dirty old warehouse and sell my organs or something" Alex
Yuzzon visibly gets angry again in this time it doesn't go away
"I would never do that it's insulting that you would even imply that let alone outright say that" Yuzzon
Several of the customers were interested in the conversation and were overhearing it hearing the implication of organ sales several of them were paying more attention to them one of them was looks like he was preparing to go to the guards
"So why do you need my help in a workshop" Alex
"Right right several of our employees recently went independent and we're having some trouble filling in the missing spots" Yuzzon
"so Workers died and now you need my help to fill in all the ones that are dead" Alex
"They're not dead they left and because no one else wants to do this work I have to talk to an Asshole like you" Yuzzon
Yuzzon Is regretting talking to this guy And if it wasn't for the situation he would have never even Continued to talk to him
"Right you never actually did tell me why They left" Alex
"How much do you actually know about Axetank" Yuzzon
"You didn't answer my question" Alex
"I'm getting to that" Yuzzon
"I know that pretty much every house in the cities made out of it And the city walls too" Alex
"You're pretty much correct on that there are a couple of issues with creating Axetank" Yuzzon
"So what you're saying is that you want me to make Axetank" Alex
"Yes you will be an apprentice that makes Axetank And in exchange for your help like all the Apprentices you will have the ability to access the Circle library as well as a workshop" Yuzzon
"That actually sounds like a really good deal I am running out of money so sure I'm just going to go tell a couple of guards that I'm going with you if that's okay" Alex
Yuzzon puts his hand on his forehead and starts rubbing it like he has a migraine
"I am not going to harvest your organs" Yuzzon He said louder and more forcefully than he meant to
"I didn't say that you said that that just makes me even more suspicious of what you are doing" Alex
They leave the inn And start heading to the workshop on the way Yuzzon Explains exactly what happened and what is going on pretty much several of the apprentices or poached by a noble who has some bad rumors about him he didn't explain what those rumors were on the way to the workshop they passed a general store
"I need to grab something in the general store quickly do you mind" Alex
"Yeah sure I don't care dealing with you such a headache I need migraine pills anyways" Yuzzon
So they enter the store Yuzzon Goes towards the headache medication and alex quickly asked Where the hunting supplies are The store clerk visually confused point him in the location of what are you asking for and he finds a roll of snare wire for five silver
"But expensive but it'll do" Alex
