Chapter 341 - Chapter 283: Konan’s Favorability

"Ancestors? The Moon?"

Hinata's face showed a look of confusion.

Shinho thought to himself, Just as I expected.

Her reaction confirmed his guess.

The Hyuga clan had indeed lost all records related to the Ōtsutsuki clan on the Moon.

Perhaps Ōtsutsuki Hamura never told them when he left, or maybe, over the course of a thousand years, the information had simply been lost.

No wonder, in the original storyline, no one from the Hyuga clan ever attempted to awaken the Tenseigan.

"This story begins with the Sage of Six Paths."

Shinho looked at Hinata and began to explain.

The Sage of Six Paths, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Hamura defeated Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and sealed the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path on the Moon.

To guard it, his younger brother, Ōtsutsuki Hamura, led most of their clan to the Moon, while the remaining branch of their lineage became the Hyuga clan in Konoha.

As time passed, Ōtsutsuki Hamura passed away.

A division arose among his descendants on the Moon regarding his final wishes.

The Branch Family believed the Sage of Six Paths had failed and that the ninja world should be destroyed.

The Main Family, however, upheld Ōtsutsuki Hamura's will, striving for peace.

Since neither side could convince the other, a war broke out between the Branch and Main Families.

In the end, only Ōtsutsuki Toneri remained on the Moon, having inherited the Branch Family's ideology.

In the original storyline, he transplanted Hanabi's Byakugan, awakened the Tenseigan, and used its power to control the Moon, attempting to crash it into the ninja world.

His plan was to annihilate the world, enter hibernation, then awaken to marry Hinata and rebuild the world anew.

In short, he had it all planned out.

Though the ending was somewhat ridiculous.

Ōtsutsuki Toneri was defeated by Naruto Uzumaki, had a sudden change of heart, returned Hanabi's eyes, and secluded himself on the Moon.

"...?"

Hinata stood frozen, processing the overwhelming amount of information.

To make it easier for her to accept, Shinho had omitted any mention of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, simplifying the story to just the Ten-Tails causing havoc and being sealed by the Sage of Six Paths.

Even so, the revelation was astonishing for Hinata.

The Hyuga clan… are the direct descendants of the Sage of Six Paths' younger brother?!

And the Byakugan, like the Sharingan, can evolve further?!

Just how powerful is this legendary Tenseigan?

Countless thoughts flooded Hinata's mind, making her feel as if she had drunk too much sake, dizzy and unable to think clearly.

"Hinata?"

Shinho reached out and waved his hand in front of her eyes.

"Hm?"

Hinata snapped out of her daze, locked eyes with him for two seconds, and then, embarrassed, stammered, "S-Sorry, Shinho-kun…"

"Why are you apologizing?"

Shinho smiled slightly. "Do you have any questions after hearing all this?"

"After all this time, if we go to the Moon to meet them, won't it be dangerous?"

Hinata thought for a moment before asking.

"It will."

Shinho answered definitively.

"Then why are we going?"

Hinata didn't doubt his words.

"The Tenseigan."

Shinho reached out, his fingers brushing against her cheek as he asked, "It can undo the Caged Bird Seal."

"Really?"

Hinata was stunned, momentarily forgetting her shyness as she instinctively asked.

"Mhm."

Shinho gave a slight nod.

He wasn't entirely certain, but the probability was high.

If it didn't work, he would study the matter himself.

No matter how advanced the Caged Bird Seal's creator was, they couldn't surpass the Sage of Six Paths.

And right now, Shinho was a Rank Six Gu Immortal, far beyond that level.

"Shinho-kun, have you asked my father?"

Hinata forced herself to remain calm as she asked.

After years of training, she was no longer the timid girl she once was.

Lifting the Caged Bird Seal would undoubtedly shake the foundations of the Hyuga clan.

"I haven't."

Shinho stared into her eyes. "I only want to know your thoughts."

"Eh?"

Hinata's heart trembled, her cheeks instantly turning a deep shade of red,

Adorably so.

"What do you think?"

Shinho pressed on.

"I… I think it should be removed."

Hinata gathered her courage and said, "The Caged Bird Seal was originally meant to prevent the Byakugan from falling into enemy hands, but now, no one dares to steal the Byakugan."

Now that the ninja world was unified, the Caged Bird Seal had lost its purpose.

Its only remaining function was to maintain the power and status of the Hyuga Main Family.

But Hinata didn't care about that.

"Then we'll remove it."

Shinho said with a smile.

Hinata lowered her head slightly, feeling a little flustered.

Shinho-kun treated her too well, so much so that she felt unworthy of it.

"Apart from the Caged Bird Seal, I also want you to awaken the Tenseigan."

Shinho lifted her chin, making her meet his gaze.

"Hm?"

Hinata Hyuga's fair cheeks were already flushed red, her white eyes hazy with confusion.

"Looks like it's time for training."

Shinho gently pinched her soft cheeks a few times as he spoke.

There were two known methods to awaken the Tenseigan in the original story.

The first required an immense concentration of Byakugan.

However, the Tenseigan formed through this method was far too large to be implanted into a human.

In fact, in the original timeline, Ōtsutsuki Toneri treated the Great Tenseigan as a tool rather than integrating it into himself.

The second method required combining Ōtsutsuki chakra with a Hyuga's Byakugan.

This method was far more practical.

All Shinho had to do was extract Ōtsutsuki Toneri's chakra and infuse it into Hinata's Byakugan, It should work.

If not, he'd just have to experiment further.

Training?

Hinata subconsciously nuzzled against Shinho's hand, just like an obedient little kitten.

"You're really adorable."

Shinho's heart stirred as his fingers rested lightly against her lips.

Hinata didn't hesitate at all, her soft lips parted slightly, and her tongue peeked out.

Her expression remained dazed, as if she was acting on pure instinct.

"I'm not candy, you know."

Shinho chuckled, withdrawing his hand before leaning down to kiss her.

He wrapped an arm around Hinata's slender waist. After a few seconds, his right hand moved upward, supporting a rather… significant weight.

Hinata's body tensed in shock, her white eyes regaining some clarity.

As she realised what was happening, the blush on her face deepened, spreading all the way to her ears, turning her completely into a flustered, steaming mess.

The sudden escalation completely shattered her ability to think straight.

Her body softened, collapsing into his embrace.

Shinho quickly caught her with his right arm.

He sighed and shook his head.

The first step of this new training… was already encountering setbacks.

Shinho glanced at Hinata's flushed face.

Her resemblance to a red apple was now transitioning into that of a ripe peach.

Even through her clothing, he could tell that her figure wasn't any less impressive than Tsunade's.

But she still needed considerable training.

He lifted her off the ground in a princess carry.

He slowly lowered her down, resting her head on his lap, using his thigh as a pillow while she lay flat on the couch.

"How can someone be this this cute?"

Shinho chuckled, gently pinching her cheek.

Then, he withdrew his hand, doing nothing else.

Simply waiting for her to wake up.

His gaze drifted toward the window, catching sight of the air conditioner.

Shinho's thoughts shifted slightly.

Ninja techniques and chakra were certainly convenient…

But technology was just as important.

Especially for ordinary people.

When he returned, he would instruct the Science Division to start gathering more technological experts.

Before he knew it, half an hour had passed.

Hinata's eyelashes fluttered slightly before she slowly opened her eyes.

She found herself staring at Shinho, who was resting with his eyes closed.

A few seconds later, she finally regained her senses.

Just now…

Her gaze instinctively lowered, falling on her own clothes.

Her body stiffened in an instant, her face burning with embarrassment.

Shinho-kun… is he some kind of pervert?!

H-How could he… How could he do that?

But then, she reminded herself,

This was supposed to be training.

A slight mist seemed to gather in Hinata's eyes.

Strangely enough, she didn't feel the urge to resist.

"You're awake?"

Shinho's fingers brushed against her warm cheek.

"What are you thinking about?"

"I… I…"

Hinata fumbled for words, but nothing coherent came out of her.

"Are you free tomorrow?"

Shinho didn't press her, simply changing the topic.

"If you are, Let's go to the Moon."

"I am."

Hinata instinctively nodded.

"There'll be quite a few puppets on the Moon. You'll have to deal with them."

Shinho recalled what he knew.

Those puppets were controlled by the Great Tenseigan.

Aside from them, the only real threat would be Ōtsutsuki Toneri.

"Understood."

Hinata replied softly.

"Don't be startled."

Shinho suddenly lifted her up.

Before Hinata could react, she was already seated on his lap.

A familiar scent enveloped her.

She instinctively leaned against his broad chest.

"Did you encounter any difficulties being in charge of the First Ninja division?"

Shinho inhaled slightly.

There was a faint, citrus-like fragrance…

It smelled like lemon.

"With the Hyuga clan's assistance, everything has been taken care of."

Hinata replied, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.

"If any issues come up, let me know."

Shinho smiled.

"In a few days, Konoha will relocate here."

"Really?"

Hinata instinctively looked up, eyes filled with surprise.

"Of course."

Shinho lightly tapped her forehead.

"Shinho-kun, will you continue entering seclusions in the future?"

Hinata suddenly thought of something and asked, eyes full of anticipation.

"I won't."

Shinho shook his head.

At Rank Six as a Gu Immortal, he could practically dominate the ninja world.

There was no longer a need for him to rush his cultivation.

And the higher he climbed, the harder progress would become.

Who knew how many years he'd remain stuck at Rank Six?

After all, cultivating immortality was measured in centuries.

"Mm."

A smile naturally appeared on Hinata's lips.

She reached out, hugging him even tighter.

Shinho felt her soft embrace but said nothing more.

It wasn't until noon, after having his meal, that he finally returned to Konoha.

"Hokage-sama."

Uzuki Yugao stood at the entrance.

"Lady Konan visited earlier. She wishes to see you."

"Send her in."

Shinho entered the Hokage's office.

"Master!"

A bored-looking Ichikishima-hime had been floating idly in the air.

The moment she saw him, she eagerly flew over to his side.
