Toneri Otsutsuki's face fell.
He could sense that Shinho remained unscathed.
How could a shinobi from the Ninja World block the power of the Tenseigan?

Shinho commented with satisfaction.
He had just used his Rank Six Immortal Gu, Iron Wall.
"Arrogant!"
Toneri Otsutsuki gave a cold snort.
The massive chakra from the Tenseigan swirled around him, quickly condensing into nine black orbs.
Truth-Seeking Balls.
Made with Yin–Yang Release, combined with high-density chakra of Yin, Yang, and the five elements, these orbs were an extremely advanced technique surpassing both Kekkei Genkai and Kekkei Tōta, able to nullify nearly all ninjutsu.
The only real weakness was that they couldn't negate senjutsu.
In the original story, there were very few who could use Truth-Seeking Balls: outside of the Otsutsuki clan, only those who became Ten-Tails Jinchūriki (Madara Uchiha and Obito Uchiha) and Naruto Uzumaki, who learned Six Paths Senjutsu.
"This is the true power of the Tenseigan!"
Toneri Otsutsuki raised his hands.

Under his control, the Truth-Seeking Balls began spinning. A layer of green chakra blanketed them, ramping up their power even more. Finally, a green ring of light formed in front of him.
The moment it coalesced, the green ring quivered, and from it burst a furious tornado. It resembled a colossal dragon roaring forth, tearing through the air as it hurtled toward Shinho with frightening speed.
A gust of wind whipped past.
Shinho remained calm, pondering which Immortal Gu to use.
From his perspective, Toneri Otsutsuki, backed by the Tenseigan, was like a whetstone for testing the limits of his new power.
Toneri's might could be called second only to the Sage of Six Paths, which was perfect for measuring Shinho's current strength as a Rank Six Gu Immortal.

He activated two Rank Six Immortal Gus simultaneously.
Shinho clenched his fist, and a thunderous roar shook the air. As primeval essence surged, the phantom of a flying bear formed abruptly.
Hovering in midair, it charged forth with Shinho's punch.
The howling tornado was torn apart in an instant. The unstoppable power then slammed toward Toneri Otsutsuki.
"What?!"
Toneri felt a jolt of alarm. A crisis like he had never known seized him, it felt like certain death.
Desperately, Toneri waved both hands.
The green ring of chakra split back into nine Truth-Seeking Balls, which expanded and flattened, forming nine black barriers in front of him.
Crack! Crack!
Under Shinho's fist, the barriers shattered like fragile glass, utterly useless.
Facing mortal peril, Toneri reacted swiftly.
Summoning Technique!
The ground trembled violently, splitting open to reveal a deep chasm.
Shinho had to pull back a step. In the next instant, a massive head emerged from beneath the earth, crashing directly into him.
Calmly, Shinho shifted his fist to meet it.
Boom!
The head of the statue exploded into fragments, its enormous body disintegrating in a tide of debris.
Shinho leapt back to avoid being buried under the rubble.
"H-How did you become so strong?!"
Toneri reappeared to the right of the Tenseigan, no longer composed but looking rather disheveled.
He had been keeping an eye on Shinho's battles in the Shinobi World.
Though powerful, Shinho's previous strength hadn't been nearly this outrageous.
"Is that the limit of the Tenseigan?"
Shinho brushed some dust off his clothing and asked casually.
"Bastard!"
Toneri seethed at being belittled.
He took a deep breath and raised both hands. Behind him, the Tenseigan blazed with dazzling brilliance, like a scorching sun.
Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!
The nine Truth-Seeking Balls appeared once more, this time larger, overflowing with a terrifying aura.
Toneri gave a forceful wave, merging the nine orbs into one giant golden sword of pure light. Its razor-sharp glow illuminated the sky.
Soaring high as though reaching the heavens, the golden blade then plummeted, slicing straight down at Shinho. In the original story, this was Toneri Otsutsuki's most powerful attack, enough to split the moon in half.
Shinho Aburame answered with the same simple approach: a punch.
But this time, on top of All-out Effort Gu and Flying Bear Strength Gu, he also activated Wailing Whale Strength Gu and Qi Grand Lion Strength Gu.
Four Rank Six Strength-path Immortal Gus working in unison.
Three fierce beast phantoms appeared around Shinho: the flying bear, the Wailing whale, and the lion shaped from qi.
"What is that?!"
Toneri's expression tensed.
A single phantom moments ago had wielded such overwhelming power, now there were three.
As they materialized, a weight like a mountain pressed down on him. Toneri gritted his teeth, pouring all his chakra into the golden sword, which flared even brighter.
Shinho's fist slammed into the golden blade.
Space twisted, and shockwaves rippled outward like a furious sea. A crisp crack resounded, and the golden sword shattered into fragments that rained down, pockmarking the ground.
"Impossible!"
Toneri went flying, disbelief etched on his face as he stared at Shinho.
Even as he struggled to regain balance, hidden amidst the shockwave and shards of gold, three dark arrows suddenly appeared.
Danger!
Toneri raised his arms, and the Tenseigan projected a golden barrier before him. But just then, the three arrows curved upward, arcing around the barrier.
"Argh!"
Toneri howled in pain as three bloody holes were torn into his body, spraying crimson in every direction.
Shinho had deliberately avoided any vital spots, so Toneri wasn't killed on the spot.
This was another Rank Six Immortal Gu: Dark Arrow.
Shinho walked over to the agonized, writhing Toneri.
Through this battle, he had gained a clear sense of a Rank Six Gu Immortal's true might.
Especially given he had not yet employed Myriad Self First Style: Great Hand Imprint, which relied on his Self Strength Immortal Gu.
"Die!"
In sudden desperation, Toneri thrust his right palm at Shinho, a surge of green chakra flaring in his hand.
"Too slow."
With a single sidestep, Shinho easily dodged. Reaching out, he seized Toneri Otsutsuki, refining him in an instant.
Enormous amounts of chakra were drawn from Toneri's body.
"W-What are you doing?!"
Toneri's face was filled with terror.
If all his chakra were to be taken, he would die.
Shinho ignored his cries and sped up the extraction.
"No!"
Toneri's despairing scream echoed through the palace. Soon he stopped struggling, sinking into eternal slumber.
Shinho released his grip, and a highly compressed sphere of chakra floated before him.
"Shinho-kun!"
A gust of cold wind accompanied Hinata as she rushed into the main hall.
All the puppets she had been battling were controlled by the Tenseigan.
Now that Toneri Otsutsuki was dead, the puppets naturally lost the ability to move.
"Hinata, release the transformation of Snow Fairy Gu,"
Shinho said as he looked over at her.
Though Hinata didn't fully understand what had happened, she immediately complied.
The surrounding temperature began to rise again.
Shinho reached out and brought the condensed sphere of chakra in front of her. Instinctively, Hinata closed her eyes. In the next moment, that incomparably pure chakra flowed endlessly into her eyes.
A tremor ran through Hinata's heart. She sensed a subtle, special transformation taking place in her vision.
The Tenseigan?
She recalled what Shinho had mentioned before, and her heart began pounding faster.
A faint purple hue spread across her eyes.
She couldn't resist opening them.
Where her Byakugan had once been purely white, there was now a misty swirl of violet, creating a magnificently beautiful appearance.
Shinho exhaled quietly in relief; his idea was confirmed.
This method could indeed awaken the Tenseigan. He continued channeling the remaining chakra into Hinata's eyes.
Suddenly, two lines of text floated before his vision:

After his initial surprise, he quickly understood, Toneri Otsutsuki and the Otsutsuki clan involved the uppermost tier of the ninja world, so a reward of this level wasn't entirely unexpected.
By the same logic, facing someone like Kaguya Otsutsuki or the Sage of Six Paths would likely yield a similar Rank Seven Immortal Gu reward. But what lay above Rank Seven was still a mystery.
He shook off his thoughts and reminded himself that he would address such matters when the time came.
A Rank Seven Gu Immortal was already invincible in the shinobi world, there no need to overthink it.
Indeed, Suppressing Universe Gu was nearly broken in its power. With it, Shinho would no longer need to worry about Kaguya Otsutsuki's space-related techniques, such as Yomotsu Hirasaka or Amenominaka.
Time passed.
The chakra sphere in Shinho 's hand completely vanished, replaced by Hinata Hyuga's newly awakened Tenseigan.
A powerful aura of oppression radiated from her entire body, leaving no doubt that her strength had soared dramatically.

The achievement name was rather unassuming, but the reward was excellent, an Immortal Gu House geared toward support.
The only downside was that Hinata herself did not possess an aperture, so she couldn't truly cultivate Gu techniques on her own.
Shinho could only hope that his own immortal aperture resources might include some Hope Gu to open Hinata's aperture in the future.
"Shinho-kun!"
Hinata glanced around, excitement evident on her face.
She could feel a level of power unlike any she'd ever known, giving her the fleeting illusion that she might be catching up to him.
Even if she still wasn't quite at his level, she finally had the strength to travel alongside him and be of real help.
"Congratulations, Hinata."
Shinho ruffled her hair. "You now possess the greatest dojutsu of the Hyuga Clan, the Tenseigan."
"It's all because of you. I didn't do anything," Hinata said shyly.
"Then I'll leave the matter of abolishing the Caged Bird Seal to you."
Shinho smiled. He held a small hope that Hinata might trigger an achievement in doing so.
"Mm!"
Hinata nodded firmly.
Shinho turned his gaze toward the nearby Tenseigan.
After a moment's thought, he decided to place it in City of Fire.
The Tenseigan could only be used by members of the Hyuga Clan.
Since Hinata was in charge of the First Division and would be stationed in City of Fire, she was the ideal person to manage it.
With a wave of his hand, Shinho stored the Tenseigan inside his Blue Sky Well Gu.
Next, it was time to search through Toneri's palace.
Shinho himself wasn't especially interested, but he guessed there would be plenty of records and resources that the Hyuga Clan would want to recover.
