The civilization background of Eternal Dreamland was ancient—there was no powerful technological system developed at all.
Thus, in the Human Realm, all that existed were various dynasties, large and small.
At the center of the Eternal Dreamland world stood the most powerful dynasty: the Immortal Dream Empire.
Nowadays, nearly all dynasties in the Human Realm had fallen into chaos. Everyone was living longer due to the influence of the Root Mother Worm.
Only the Immortal Dream Empire remained largely unaffected from top to bottom.
That was because the Immortal Dream Empire was a vassal state of the Immortal Realm. Any disturbance here would directly alert the Immortal Emperors of the Immortal Realm.
So when Rosen planted the Root Mother Worm, he didn't intentionally avoid this region, but all Root Mother Worms parasitizing humans in the Immortal Dream Empire remained dormant, unactivated, and they didn't assist the humans here in absorbing power from Eternal Dreamland.
However, ever since the Immortal Emperor merged into the Miracle Sequence, Rosen inevitably started to become overconfident.
He was well aware that he was becoming inflated with pride, and he didn't intend to suppress that feeling.
Because being arrogant without power was suicidal—but with real power, if you still suppressed yourself, would you rather become a Ninja Turtle?
Inside the Immortal Dream Empire's royal palace main hall, it wasn't yet time for morning court, so the hall was completely empty.
Rosen kicked aside the throne with one foot and summoned his Radiant Throne.
Once seated, he immediately used the Eternal Flame to seize control of the Immortal Dream Empire's civilization fate.
Although there was a form of civilization fate here, it couldn't condense into a Civilization Flame.
So it was easier to control. After seizing control of the authority over civilization fate, he immediately used it to transform the entire Immortal Dream Empire into his Immortal Kingdom. At the same time, all the other dynastic rulers were simultaneously manipulated by the Root Mother Worm, bowing to him from afar in reverence.
The Immortal Kingdom spread using each dynasty as an anchor point, rapidly transforming the entire Human Realm into part of the Immortal Kingdom.
Immediately after, the power of the Miracle Game and the Fallen Paradise descended upon the entire Human Realm in succession.
The Immortal Sacred Sword flashed and vanished into the void, and as it passed through, it not only established the foundational game rules that blanketed the Human Realm through the Miracle Game but also imposed a single imperial decree via the Emperor's Law.
The game rules were simple: first, all lifeforms in the Human Realm were included in the game.
Then humans were granted the qualification to level up by slaying monsters. All the grudge spirits and dream beasts formed from collective resentment in the Human Realm were transformed into monsters that provided experience upon defeat. Lastly, these monsters were granted the ability to absorb Dreamland Origin and respawn after death.
As for the imperial decree, it was even simpler: it declared that the Immortal Realm was guilty—and the Immortal Emperors must die for their sins.
The Emperor's Law allowed Rosen to establish any law he wished within the Immortal Kingdom. He could even make his words into law. But for this power to reach its fullest potential, the laws he created needed to be known and recognized by his subjects.
This would further gather the power of the people's will, empowering his decrees and commands to take on even stronger effects.
Rosen held the Immortal Scepter in hand. The power of unit transformation spread throughout the Immortal Kingdom.
Due to the horrifying maturation speed of humans in Eternal Dreamland—where people reached adulthood in a single day—it was currently evening, and thus not a single child existed in the Dreamland. Everyone was either in their prime or elderly, and all were transformed into Immortal Units.
Compared to ordinary game characters, Immortal Units not only gained bonus experience for killing monsters but were also far easier for the Immortal Emperor to command.
Once the unit transformation completed, every citizen from every city and dynasty in the Human Realm began to leave their cities.
All the grudge spirits and mountain beasts that emerged at night were slaughtered completely wherever the Immortal Units passed. Afterwards, whenever the monsters respawned, they couldn't even survive three seconds. Eventually, when there weren't enough monsters left to kill, the Immortal Units raised their weapons and began marching to the heavens.
Rosen opened countless portals—every one of them leading directly to the Immortal Realm.
Countless Immortal Units surged through the portals to invade the Immortal Realm, only to be effortlessly annihilated by the immortals there.
Although Immortal Units came with innate battle formations, allowing their damage to stack and injuries to be shared...
They hadn't slain enough monsters yet, so their levels were too low—quantity couldn't yet convert into quality.
All the fallen Immortal Units left no corpses; their bodies were converted by the Immortal Realm's power into Dreamland Origin.
However, this Dreamland Origin now contained the source power of Eternal Game, Eternal Fall, and even Eternal Birth.
The Eternal Game began to envelop the Immortal Realm as well. Eternal Fall awakened the deepest instincts and desires within the immortals. Eternal Birth caused every immortal, regardless of gender, to become pregnant for ten months. The uncountable number of low-level Immortal Units nearly caused the Immortal Realm to collapse.
There weren't many immortals in the Immortal Realm to begin with—after all, even the weakest immortal equaled a Sequence 0 in the Ancient God World.
Each Immortal Palace under an Immortal Emperor typically had only a few hundred immortals serving them and assisting in the administration of Eternal Dreamland.
Currently, the five Immortal Emperors were still holding council in the Origin Spirit Palace. They hadn't even taken the invasion seriously. By the time they realized their immortals were either heavily pregnant or had succumbed to their most primal urges and fully degenerated, it was already too late to save them.
Because whether it was Eternal Fall or Eternal Birth, they both infiltrated subtly, like silent rain nourishing everything.
By the time the infiltration had gone deep enough to erupt, it was already too late to resist. Rosen had taken less than a single night to seize control of the Mortal Realm and simultaneously dealt a heavy blow to the Immortal Realm.
And that wasn't even the most terrifying part. The Immortal army suffered heavy casualties as they charged into the Immortal Realm, and there weren't enough vengeful spirits or beasts in the Mortal Realm to kill. In just one night, the power of Eternal Procreation had fully spread throughout the Mortal Realm via the Root Mother.
All life began frenzied reproduction—thanks to the properties of the Eternal Dream, all newborns matured within a day.
Due to Eternal Procreation, every lifeform now birthed at least nine offspring per pregnancy.
The Eternal Dream had always been able to give birth overnight and grow within a day—Rosen had only accelerated the process. That's why the Eternal Dream didn't retaliate. As a result, when countless newborns were born at dawn, the source of the Eternal Dream began to be consumed at a terrifying rate.
The five Immortal Emperors had not acted all night—not because they couldn't reach a consensus, but because they were silently observing, trying to gauge the intruder's strength before making a move.
But now, without understanding the enemy's depth, they could no longer sit still.
If the Eternal Dream's source continued to be depleted past the safety threshold, the Spirit World of the Ancient God would seize the opportunity to devour it. Their decision to sacrifice the Mortal Realm to probe the intruder wasn't wrong—after all, even if the Mortal Realm was destroyed, it could easily be reshaped.
Their mistake was underestimating the invader—they hadn't expected the method of extracting dream origin to be so horrifying.
In just one night, the population of all life in the Mortal Realm had multiplied several times over.
If this trend continued—population doubling every day—no amount of dream source could sustain the Eternal Dream.
At dawn that morning, the sky was barely lit, yet the rising sun didn't shed a single ray of light.
The entire sky above the Mortal Realm was shrouded in black clouds, with countless bolts of lightning flashing within. When the thunderclouds reached their limit, an endless storm of apocalyptic thunder tore through the darkness and split heaven and earth.
Even the thunderclouds couldn't withstand the fury of the thunder—they were pierced through, letting down faint strands of sunlight.
But the sunlight was completely drowned out by the thunderlight—the entire Mortal Realm was bathed in blue-violet lightning. Countless bolts wove into a net of thunder, instantly shattering mountains, rivers, kingdoms, and cities into dust—returning everything to the fundamental dream source of the Eternal Dream.
Then, almost all of that dream source was drawn into the Immortal Realm.
Though the Eternal Dream was supremely realistic, it was still a dream at its core.
Otherwise, it wouldn't be susceptible to the Spirit World. Because it was a dream, it could accomplish things that reality never could. In the real world, even if all things were destroyed and returned to their origin, rebuilding civilization would require eons.
But in a dream, none of that was needed—the five Immortal Emperors could recreate the Mortal Realm within days.
However, realizing that some unknown Eternal Source had seized partial control of the Mortal Realm, the five Immortal Emperors chose not to rebuild it. Instead, they destroyed it entirely and gathered the recovered source within the Immortal Realm to prevent the invader from taking it.
This decision wasn't necessarily wrong—facing a powerful foe, it was natural to concentrate one's strength.
But even this was within Rosen's calculations.
To forcibly seize the Mortal Realm, he had used Eternal Origin, Eternal Game, and Eternal Fall.
Of these, the Eternal Game was the most direct force clashing with the Eternal Dream. In contrast, Eternal Fall was much more subtle, and Eternal Origin remained hidden in the shadows from beginning to end. When the apocalyptic thunder destroyed the Mortal Realm, the only force openly resisting was Eternal Game.
As for the power of Eternal Fall—it was constantly and imperceptibly fusing into the dream source, trying to infiltrate the Immortal Realm.
However, calling it "imperceptible" was misleading—Rosen had deliberately left a flaw.
So the Immortal Emperors discovered the power of Eternal Fall. After all, Eternal Fall had previously infiltrated the Immortal Realm and corrupted many immortals. The Emperors were no longer ignorant—they were already somewhat prepared.
Thus, when the Immortal Realm recovered the dream source of the Mortal Realm, it sealed away the portions entangled with Eternal Fall.
But they didn't realize that Eternal Origin had hidden under the cover of Eternal Fall and slipped in unnoticed.
Eternal Origin had transformed into the Root Mother, lurking within all living beings of the Mortal Realm. Though the apocalyptic thunder had caused massive casualties, part of the Root Mother instead absorbed the dream source and began dividing and rooting itself, subtly blending into the Eternal Dream itself.
And so, right under the Immortal Emperors' noses, it entered the Immortal Realm along with the dream source.
The deeper the Root Mother integrated into the Immortal Realm, the faster it could take root and grow.
Had the Immortal Emperors been more vigilant, they would've eventually discovered the Root Mother. After all, Rosen never intended for it to slowly and silently parasitize the realm over thousands of years—time was limited, so he chose to sacrifice concealment in exchange for speed.
That meant Rosen had to hold back the Immortal Emperors—distract them from noticing what was happening to the Immortal Realm.
Rosen forcibly entered the Immortal Realm through the World-Gate and deployed his Creator Domain, covering one-third of the Immortal Realm and forcibly converting the area into an Eternal Dominion. Immediately afterward, the Fallen Paradise and Miracle Game descended again.
The Immortal Castle, evolved from the Holy Grail Castle, appeared, and the Eternal Holy Grail began converting the source it had absorbed from the Mortal Realm.
All of the converted dream source was channeled through the Eternal Altar to resurrect the Eternal soldiers who had just been wiped out by the apocalyptic thunderstorm.
Though not all could be revived, resurrecting part of the elite forces was effortless.
With Rosen's battlefield prepared, the five Immortal Emperors surrounded the Eternal Dominion and launched their assault.
No matter what transcendent system one walks, in the end, all paths converge. The immortal path of the Eternal Dream, though different from the old world's origin spirit path and other civilization systems, and even more distant from the divine systems of the new world, ultimately reaches the same limit: refining the body, refining the soul, and refining the divine essence, all while opening up worlds, mastering laws, and controlling origins.
The immortal system of the Eternal Dream broadly belongs to the Heaven and Earth Unity system.
By elevating one's soul into the Immortal Soul, which merges with a world of Heaven and Earth, it transforms into the world will of that world. The world's power strengthens the Immortal Soul, and thus, the Five Immortal Emperors act as the world will of the Immortal Realm.
Rosen began by occupying a third of the Immortal Realm with the Immortal Nation, effectively weakening the Five Immortal Emperors by a third.
He was able to accomplish this by relying on the Root Mother, which had parasitized the Immortal Realm.
Rosen directly used the Glorious Throne to summon a defensive barrier, the Invincible Defense Array, that covered the entire Immortal Nation.
Any damage targeted at the barrier was redirected to the territory of the Immortal Nation.
As a result, under the fierce assault of the Five Immortal Emperors, the third of the Immortal Realm occupied by the Immortal Nation was slowly shattered.
Rosen sat on the Glorious Throne in the Immortal Castle, directing his immortal troops to fight to the death on the outermost frontier of the Immortal Nation.
For mortal nations, the stronger the national power and the more abundant life force, the more powerful it becomes.
But for the Immortal Nation, destroyed territory and slaughtered subjects, the destruction and death, are not the end of the transcendent realm. The destruction power brought by the Immortal Nation's demise, the undying battle spirit of all fallen warriors, and the energy returning to Heaven and Earth after their fall—all of it was concentrated on the Immortal Holy Sword.
Furthermore, the destructive power formed after the Immortal Nation's fall in the Mortal Realm had also converged upon the sword.
There was a hidden anomaly in all of this, which the Immortal Emperor and others noticed.
As the Immortal Nation was progressively breached, the Emperor's and Game laws were dispersed. By the time they had arrived outside the Immortal Emperor's City, the Five Immortal Emperors stopped simultaneously and began to activate the Eternal Dream's origin to construct the Celestial Immortal Formation—a combination of offense and defense.
The Celestial Immortal Formation could suppress time and space, trapping and killing strong enemies while defending against their last-ditch counterattacks.
It took all five Immortal Emperors working together to unleash the formation's full power.
Rosen finally stood up, not drawing the Immortal Holy Sword beside him, but instead taking out the Heavenly Feather Bow. He strung a Heavenly Fate Bone Arrow and aimed it at one of the Five Immortal Emperors— the Soul Emperor.
Dozens of active and passive skills, strengthening the arrow's lethality, combined and reached the maximum before he released the string.
The Heavenly Fate Bone Arrow ignored all defenses, piercing through the Celestial Immortal Formation's time and space barrier, hitting the Soul Emperor at superluminal speed.
This arrow was enough to kill a great true god, but for the Soul Emperor, it only caused a light wound.
Seeing no way to avoid it, the Soul Emperor wielded the Soul Gold Lamp to release numerous golden lotuses to block the attack. All golden lotuses in the Eternal Dream turned into solid forms, reducing some of the arrow's damage. Most of the remaining damage was diverted away.
The greatest advantage of merging the Immortal Soul with the Immortal Realm's Heaven and Earth was that one could treat the Immortal Realm as another body.
Before the Soul Emperor could relax, he realized that someone had appeared before him.
The moment Rosen fired the Heavenly Fate Bone Arrow, he had already drawn the Immortal Holy Sword. As the light element transformed, he closed the gap with the Soul Emperor, following the arrow's path. When he reached him, the Immortal Holy Sword, charged with countless destructive powers, slashed out.
This slash directly severed the Soul Emperor's head, severely wounding the Immortal Soul fused with the Immortal Realm.
The sword contained not only the destruction power of the Emperor's Law, but also the power of Eternal Fall's corruption, the instant death rules of the Eternal Game, the suppression of fortune's power from Eternal Fire, and the destructive force of the Orderbreaker against all orders.
Had the Soul Emperor not redirected most of the damage, he would likely have been completely slain by Rosen's full force.
The Soul Emperor did not die, but his Immortal Soul, which was merged with the Immortal Realm, had its connection severed by the Orderbreaker.
Without the power of the Immortal Realm, the Soul Emperor was essentially a godless demon, having lost his immortality.
With further injury, the Soul Emperor retreated, his Immortal Soul merging back into the Soul Gold Lamp, trying to escape.
The other four Immortal Emperors sensed something was wrong and quickly surrounded the Soul Emperor to provide rescue.
Just as they were about to save him, a Celestial Immortal Vine, eternal in nature, bound the Soul Gold Lamp.
The Eternal Immortal Vine, a subordinate of the Serpent Mother Gourd, had been fused with dozens of sealing skills, including the Ancient God Shackles miracle, giving it formidable sealing power.
Despite the Soul Gold Lamp's resistance, the vine dragged it into the Serpent Mother Gourd.
Not even slightly weaker eternal beings would easily escape from the Serpent Mother Gourd after such a pulling force.
Rosen reclaimed the Serpent Mother Gourd, holding the Immortal Holy Sword as he charged toward the other Immortal Emperors.
The Eternal Dream possessed some of the foundations of the Eternal World, which allowed it to block most of the Emperor's Law, preventing Rosen from controlling the power of countless civilizations and their flames from the new world's nations.
At this point, the fate of the Soul Emperor was uncertain, and the Immortal Realm had suffered continuous heavy losses.
The internal and external barriers of the Eternal Dream were partially broken, and the Emperor's Law reconnected with the flames of countless civilizations in the new world. Once the Immortal Holy Sword exhausted its destructive power, the released force was not diminished but instead grew stronger.
Rosen's Creator Domain enveloped the Soul Emperor in an instant, dragging him into the Fallen Paradise for temporary suppression.
Then, Rosen faced off against three Immortal Emperors, battling fiercely.
As expected, Rosen soon began to lose ground. To suppress two Immortal Emperors required a huge amount of strength, and facing three of them on advantageous terrain, his ability to hold his ground for any length of time was already impressive.
So Rosen seized the opportunity to deploy the Ark of Doom, using it to kite the enemy.
However, he did not leave the Eternal Dream. The Ark of Doom remained within the Eternal Dream, darting through the realm.
Forced into a corner, the three Immortal Emperors gritted their teeth and pursued him.
Since they could not save the Soul Emperor or the Soul Emperor, once they fell, their own demise was only a matter of time.
Thus, they chased and ran, while the Root Mother quietly parasitized the Immortal Realm from the shadows.
