Chapter 420 - The Eternal Binding Soul Wolf and the Undying Holy Body

As one of the over a hundred Wolf Kings of the Heavenly Wolf Clan, the Black Wolf King was already a being second only to the Immortal Heavenly Wolf within the clan.

With such status, all starships passing through the Trans-Space Star Gate had to give way to him.

The Black Wolf King quickly selected a star system within the Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster, scanning the star maps.

The Heavenly Wolf Clan was not very numerous, with most of its members living in the Heavenly Wolf Star System.

Thus, within the Super Star Cluster, of the hundred thousand star systems and trillions of stars, almost all were occupied by the subordinate species of the Heavenly Wolf Clan.

These subordinate species were required to supply resources for the Heavenly Wolf Clan and help develop the entire Super Star Cluster, with all the harvests from their civilization eventually flowing to the Heavenly Wolf Clan.

Some of the more successful subordinate species contributed to certain aspects of the Heavenly Wolf Clan's civilization.

Such species were given preferential treatment by the Heavenly Wolf Clan.

However, those whose development was poor and who were of little value to the Heavenly Wolf Clan were hardly regarded. In fact, at any time, the Heavenly Wolf Clan could decide to eradicate these species if they wanted a change of taste.

The Black Wolf King casually selected a few neighboring civilizations that had not developed well.

He crossed over tens of millions of light-years through the Trans-Space Star Gate.

Rosen had long made preparations, entering the depths of a chef's memory, and followed the chef as the Black Wolf King took him away.

As the Black Wolf King passed through the Trans-Space Star Gate and entered the artificial wormhole, he immediately released all the servants related to the food from earlier, some of whom were members of the Heavenly Wolf Clan, but more were from the subordinate species.

He knew the food was problematic. Otherwise, he wouldn't have suddenly been able to shake off the hunger that had accumulated for tens of thousands of years.

He had considered this might be a trap but ultimately couldn't resist.

Before the Black Wolf King could thoroughly check whether the servants had any issues, the Creator's domain enveloped him.

Before he could react or ask the Ancestor for help, the Fallen Paradise merged with the domain.

The terrifying laws of corruption in the Fallen Paradise directly triggered the Black Wolf King's eternal corruption origin, completely awakening his true nature while he was already entangled in the web of belief cast by Rosen's miracle skill, pulling the Black Wolf King's immortal will into a dream.

The web of belief originated from the Nightmare Spider Web, so the Dream Source Seed had a powerful amplification effect on it.

Combined with the power of the Corruption Source Seed, the Black Wolf King couldn't resist and had already lost all ability to fight back.

Though his immortal will was steadfast, how could it resist the ultimate move unleashed by two Source Seeds combined with eternal will?

The web of belief wrapped around the Black Wolf King's soul, delving deep into his brain, soul, and divine origin.

Unlike the transcendent system of the Ancient Gods World, which was based on spirituality, the Heavenly Wolf Clan primarily focused on will and secondarily on bloodlines. Therefore, their life origin and immortal will were stronger, but their souls and divine origins were comparatively weaker. To compensate for this weakness, they had completely fused their divine origin with their body.

The advantage of this was that the body could protect the divine origin. The downside was that any indelible harm to the body would also affect the divine origin.

As Rosen dug into the Black Wolf King's memories, he quickly found the information he was looking for.

The nearest cosmic forbidden zone to the Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster originated from the Eternal Life Eternal Binding Soul Wolf.

The Heavenly Wolf Clan was initially created by the Eternal Binding Soul Wolf.

Therefore, this cosmic forbidden zone held incomparable significance for the Heavenly Wolf Clan.

Out of the over a hundred Wolf Kings of the Heavenly Wolf Clan, at least ten were stationed near this forbidden zone.

Unless an eternal life form wanted to enter, even other Immortal Godfiends in the universe could enter but never leave.

There had been cases where an Immortal Godfiend entered, only to be easily ambushed and killed by the Immortal Heavenly Wolf, who followed them closely and used their understanding of the forbidden zone to trap them.

Rosen planted the Root Worm Mother Seed within the Black Wolf King's body, and quickly gained complete control over him from the inside out.

He then hid inside the Black Wolf King's consciousness sea, guiding the Black Wolf King toward the Binding Soul Forbidden Zone.

The Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster originally had many wormholes, but later, all of them were merged into the Trans-Space Star Gate.

Without going through the Trans-Space Star Gate, no wormhole within the Super Star Cluster could be opened.

The Black Wolf King took out a quantum communicator for the Trans-Space Star Gate, and soon, the gate locked onto his location. A brief artificial wormhole appeared, and he passed through it, emerging from another artificial wormhole.

At this point, they had already reached the edge of the Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster, just a step away from the Binding Soul Forbidden Zone.

The Binding Soul Forbidden Zone existed in the cosmic starry sky, the endless void, and also in the Origin Dark Sea.

The entire forbidden zone was formed by the eternal world of the Eternal Binding Soul Wolf, with only one entrance near the Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster. The entrance was covered in layers of seals, and only the Immortal Heavenly Wolf or a Wolf King had the qualifications to enter.

There were no wormholes in the Binding Soul Forbidden Zone, as it was filled with terrifying energy tides.

Though the Eternal Binding Soul Wolf had died, the Forbidden Zone continued to absorb the world's origin from the Origin Dark Sea.

The greatest reason why the Heavenly Wolf Super Star Cluster had been able to develop was that for countless years, it had absorbed the world's origin emanating from the Binding Soul Forbidden Zone.

If one were to evaluate the strength of Immortal Godfiends in the universe, it could generally be seen from the Super Star Clusters they occupied.

The closer a Super Star Cluster was to a cosmic forbidden zone, the stronger the Immortal Godfiend residing near it.

The Heavenly Wolf Clan, like regular wolves, was very united, but this referred to the regular Heavenly Wolves under different Wolf Kings.

Once someone became a Wolf King, they immediately became each other's greatest competitors.

Everyone hoped to see the other make mistakes, everyone hoped to see the other die. However, with the Immortal Heavenly Wolf present, none of the Wolf Kings dared to openly kill each other. The Black Wolf King actively applied to enter the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone. The Wolf Kings guarding the forbidden zone were divided in their feelings—some were secretly pleased, others worried. They were pleased that the Black Wolf King might die inside, eliminating a competitor, but worried that he might have a fortuitous encounter in the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone and return alive.Nevertheless, no one made things difficult or tried to stop him, for a wolf that could bite would never bark without purpose. After verifying his identity and passing through the layers of seals, Rosen controlled the Black Wolf King and fully entered the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone.

After countless years of exploration by the Heavenly Wolf Clan, the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone had been divided into three sections. The outermost region was the Void Soul Realm, which served as the spatial barrier to the Eternal World. It was a vast, endless, dark expanse, where the only things that could be found were countless souls trapped and bound. These souls came from cosmic lives slain by the Eternal Soul Binding Wolf, as well as from the Source Beasts and the Heavenly Wolf Clan. These souls were not difficult to kill, but being easy to kill did not mean they could be killed. The more souls killed in the Void Soul Realm, the more one would be tainted by the origin of Eternal Slavery. The Eternal Soul Binding Wolf, which controlled the origin of Eternal Slavery, would ensure that all those who killed would remain trapped in the Void Soul Realm forever, only finding release when their bodies had decayed and only their souls remained.

Here, "release" meant the loss of wisdom, no longer having to face the despair and pain of being trapped here.

Therefore, even though the souls in this realm were easy to kill, those who didn't want to be trapped here avoided killing unless absolutely necessary.

Killing a small number of souls might still allow one to escape alive, but killing too many would only lead to being trapped here.

The Immortal Godfiends who had once forced their way in were all tricked and killed by the Immortal Heavenly Wolf, using the Void Soul Realm's souls.

The Heavenly Wolf Clan had spent enormous effort sealing the entrance to the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone, not because they were afraid the souls inside might escape, or that someone might enter and take treasures, but because they were concerned that too many ignorant people might enter and cause the souls trapped there to multiply, becoming even more dangerous.

Once, when the Immortal Heavenly Wolf tricked and killed an Immortal Godfiend, it celebrated, but soon regretted it.Because the Immortal Godfiend's body died, but its soul was preserved and trapped in the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone.Even after losing its wisdom, the soul instinctively kept its gaze locked on the Immortal Heavenly Wolf.As a result, the Immortal Heavenly Wolf was forced to leave the Forbidden Zone every time it came, unable to act with violence.Fortunately, the Immortal Godfiend had only targeted the Immortal Heavenly Wolf and not the other Wolf Kings. If it had been the latter, the Heavenly Wolf Clan would have struggled to continue harvesting benefits from the Forbidden Zone.

While outsiders who killed souls would be trapped in the Void Soul Realm, this didn't stop the souls inside from fighting each other. Some powerful souls, after death, would leave behind treasures such as Source Soul Crystals. These crystals, derived from the source rather than from resentment, were beneficial for the growth of divine origins. The Heavenly Wolf Clan, with over a hundred Wolf Kings, owed half of its number to the use of Source Soul Crystals to advance to Great True Gods.

Of course, relying on soul-on-soul fighting and luck, it was hard to gather large quantities of Source Soul Crystals.

Thus, the Heavenly Wolf Clan usually captured powerful transcendent lifeforms from other civilizations before entering the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone. They would release these lifeforms into the Void Soul Realm, letting them fight the trapped souls to the death.

The Heavenly Wolf Clan, operating behind the scenes, only needed to follow and collect the Source Soul Crystals.

Rosen was also interested in the Source Soul Crystals, so he left the Black Wolf King responsible for hunting the souls in the Void Soul Realm.

When entering, he needed the Black Wolf King to avoid trouble, but when leaving, that wasn't necessary.

Thus, the Black Wolf King's final purpose was to collect Source Soul Crystals for Rosen. Once the Black Wolf King was fully trapped by the Eternal Slavery and died in the Void Soul Realm, the Root Worm Mother hidden within him would sprout and use him as nourishment.

After leaving the Black Wolf King's consciousness, Rosen locked onto the deeper parts of the Void and advanced steadily.

He didn't dare to tear apart space, worried it would send him into a dead zone.Instead, he released the Ark of the Apocalypse to move slowly through the darkness. Here, the Void Soul Realm's energy made it so that the Ark's speed wasn't much faster than when it had left the Star Realm or the Ancient God World.

A few days later, the Ark of the Apocalypse exited the Void Soul Realm and left the world barrier.

At this point, they had truly entered the Eternal World.

No longer was it the dark expanse of the Void Soul Realm, but instead, a vast universe with countless floating continents.

Its diameter was less than two light-years, still several times larger than the Ancient God World.

However, in reality, it was far inferior to the Ancient God World, for the Ancient God World had a crust and oceans that enveloped it.

This Eternal World, on the other hand, was mostly empty space, devoid of matter. So, despite having a space several times larger than the Ancient God World, its mass was tens of times smaller. Nonetheless, compared to the Immortal World, it was still a whole different realm.

The mass difference between the Eternal World and the Ancient God World didn't mean that the Ancient Gods were tens of times stronger than the Eternal Soul Binding Wolf.

This was because the Ancient Gods were fully embodied beings, existing from within the Ancient God World itself. The Eternal Soul Binding Wolf had no such embodiment but instead had its body hidden in the Eternal World in front of them.

The exact location of the body had been thoroughly explored by the Heavenly Wolf Clan over countless years.

The Eternal World contained tens of thousands of continents. Over sixty percent of the extraordinary resources on these continents fell into the hands of the Heavenly Wolf Clan.

However, the remaining forty percent was occupied by the Great True Gods and Immortal Godfiends who lived in the Eternal World.

These beings were intelligent and had lived in the Soul Binding Forbidden Zone for countless generations. Some were creations of the Eternal Soul Binding Wolf, while others were war trophies from the Eternal Soul Binding Wolf's cosmic conquests. All were marked with the power of Eternal Slavery and imprisoned on various continents, unable to reach even the Void Soul Realm.

In fact, even moving within the Eternal World required them to manipulate their bound continents.

It was precisely because of their confinement to these continents that the Heavenly Wolf Clan could monopolize the resources from the remaining unclaimed continents.

Like the Void Soul Realm, hunting life forms here will also lead to eternal enslavement, trapping the hunter forever. However, unlike the Void Soul Realm, where one must kill more to be trapped, here, if an Immortal Godfiend kills a Great True God, they will immediately be trapped on a continent, replacing the Great True God in their fate. Several Wolf Kings of the Tianlang tribe have been trapped here.

If the only restriction was the inability to kill freely, the Soul-binding Forbidden Zone wouldn't deserve to be called a cosmic restricted area. The true danger of the Soul-binding Forbidden Zone is the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf. Although the Eternal God Source has been destroyed, and its eternal soul shattered, and the Eternal Will inside the enslaving source is weak and dormant, the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf remains alive.

In the early days, the Tianlang tribe didn't understand the danger of the Soul-binding Forbidden Zone. Several Wolf Kings who hunted life here were trapped. But now, only two have survived. The rest were consumed by the still-living body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf. The life forms on the continents of the Eternal World, each one, are just little snacks the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf prepared for itself before its death. Even after dying, it habitually consumes these little snacks from time to time.

If Rosen were to face the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf directly, he wouldn't have full confidence in escaping alive. Fortunately, the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf usually enters a dormant state unless provoked.

What Rosen needs to do is find the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf and plant the Rootworm Mother during its slumber. Using the Creator's Eye, Rosen quietly observed the distribution of the continents in the Void.

His Creator's Eye couldn't directly lock onto the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf, nor would he dare to, fearing it would provoke the awakening of the body. However, by studying the distribution of the continents, he could deduce the general location of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf. Each time the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf awakens, it randomly appears outside a continent with life to feed.

The other continents, controlled by Great True Gods and Immortal Godfiends, wouldn't wait to die near it. They would do everything they could to move their continent away from the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf, and the faster they ran, the higher their chances of survival.

So, the regions where the continents are moving away are the areas where the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf last awakened to feed. Rosen quickly pinpointed a gap with only a few dozen continents, and all the other continents had moved far away. He was certain that the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf was sleeping on one of these continents.

Rosen cautiously approached, hiding within the mysterious study room, and controlled it to move slowly while scanning.

The search process was not difficult, as he could feel the instinctive terror that made every cell tremble as he approached. Rosen withdrew his Creator's Eye and even dug out his own eyes, replacing them with ordinary ones of Sequence 1 to reduce his power and not provoke the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf.

The body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf, only a few thousand miles long, lay on a continent, looking very much like a Tianlang in wolf form, except for a unique horn on its forehead that absorbed all light. This horn was intact, clearly the hardest part of its body.

The rest of its body was severely damaged, with half of its head missing, nearly half of its brain gone, and countless unhealable wounds. Its wings were almost severed, and internal organs spilled out of its abdomen, dragging on the ground.

On all its wounds, Rosen noticed at least a dozen different Eternal Sources that prevented the wounds from healing. Even so, the body still had a faint breath, causing terrifying hurricanes to blow across the continent.

It could even swallow up land the size of several million square kilometers, showing just how terrifying the living Eternal Soul-binding Wolf was. It was unimaginable how many Eternal Lifeforms had fought to inflict such grievous injuries on the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf's body.

Rosen didn't dare approach too closely and released countless Rootworm Mothers to form wolves. Then, cautiously, he approached the body of the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf from the side.

The process went smoothly because the Rootworms were weak enough not to provoke any reaction from the body. The Eternal Soul-binding Wolf, with its God Source destroyed and only a trace of Eternal Will left, didn't react to the approach of these weak creatures. Soon, countless Rootworm Mothers infiltrated the body, both inside and outside, through the wounds.

The body contained endless Eternal Life Source, but the Rootworm Mothers couldn't even penetrate a single healthy cell. This was understandable, as the Elder Fishermen had hoped to plunder the Source Species. Healthy cells were too strong, so Rosen decided to try the damaged cells near the wounds.

However, even those failed; the Rootworms turned to dust upon approach. The collision of different Eternal Sources over countless years had strengthened the sources at the wounds. Rosen had initially thought that the conflicting Eternal Sources would weaken each other over time, but the sources at the wounds were incredibly strong.

Rosen suspected that the injuries weren't as severe when the Eternal Soul-binding Wolf died. He realized that the sources near the wounds contained the Eternal Wills of over ten different Eternal Lifeforms. These Eternal Wills manipulated the sources at the wounds to drain the body of its Source, nourishing the Eternal Sources and growing stronger.

The damaged cells near the wounds were far more difficult to deal with than the normal, healthy cells.

Fortunately, although there were many Eternal Wills, none of them had wisdom or self-awareness. They were born from the Eternal Lifeform's God Source, and although they were formed from memories, all the memories had disappeared, leaving behind only instinct.
