The staircase curved downward into a cavernous chamber far larger than the last. The walls pulsed like organs beneath layers of blackened flesh, their surfaces slick with a sheen of dark ichor. A heartbeat-like rhythm echoed through the hollow, growing louder with every step.
In the center of the chamber stood the Womb Beast.
It looked almost humanoid at first glance—twisted and malformed—until one noticed the lack of a face. In place of a head was a grotesque red bloom, a fleshy flower whose petals were laced with mouths and thin, needle-like tongues. Six jagged limbs extended from its torso, each ending in bone-like blades. Beneath it was a tangle of tails and sinews dragging through the blood-slick ground.
A crown of writhing veins floated above its misshapen form. Darkness clung to it like a second skin. Its aura exuded Corruption, Bloodlust, and the slow suffocation of Darkness Law—a thick spiritual pressure that buckled the air itself.
