'Woah! So that's the Monkey King? He radiates danger like crazy!!' Meliodas panicked inwardly.
Just by being this close to him, could he already feel that the monkey in front of him could snuff him out at any moment he wanted. And if he could barely react to Jingliu's speed, he stood no chance against him.
Looking even closer, he was surprised by his appearance. He expected him to look more... monkey-Ish. But instead, he just looked like an overly hairy middle-aged man with a crown on his head and a staff at his side, which Meliodas could only guess was [Ruyi Jingu Bang]. The iconic staff could extend and enlarge as much as the user wanted.
As Meliodas finished checking him out, their eyes met.
"W-what is this feeling?" Meliodas muttered as he felt some sort of lightning jolt through his body. He couldn't describe it, but it felt like he had just met someone he had been waiting to meet his whole life!
At the same time, the Monkey King, "This feeling! a fellow brother?" Wukong muttered as he felt the same sensation that Meliodas did when their eyes met.
On the other side, Jingliu watched the scene from behind nervously. Judging from what she was witnessing, Jingliu didn't know if the Monkey Kings' reaction was bad or good, but she knew that it wasn't normal.
As she was about to speak up to introduce Meliodas, the Monkey King got up from his throne and started to walk towards Meliodas.
And in return, Meliodas also walked towards him.
"Hey! Don't be disrespectful, damnit!" Jingliu whispered to the already moving Meliodas. Although she and Sun Wukong are old friends, if he decided to kill him here and there, then she wouldn't be able to do anything about it!
But a pity that they were already on the move, there was nothing she could do but watch from behind.
As Meliodas and the Monkey King strolled towards each other, they both finally arrived in the middle of the throne room, standing face to face, their expressions serious.
"Thick thighs?" The Monkey King suddenly asked with a serious face, as if Meliodas's answer would decide the world's fate.
"Save lives!!!" Meliodas responded in return, finishing the Monkey King's sentence with an equally serious face.

Jingliu's mind went blank as her ears and brain processed their words. "Huh? Thick thighs… save lives?" The sheer stupidity contained within that single sentence made her wish they had actually started killing each other.
"Sun Wukong"
"Meliodas Y. Pendragon"
They both reached out their right arms, grasping each other's hands and flexing their arm muscles, a sense of camaraderie filling both their hearts.
*Comrade Arm hold flex*
As both boys bonded over finally finding one of their kind in this boring, barren land filled with uncultured swine, a man standing next to Sun Wukong's throne spoke up.
*Chuckle*
"Well, I haven't seen the king this excited in a while."
Meliodas tilted his head slightly to the side, looking past Sun Wukong, and saw a handsome man in a military uniform, his long white hair tied into a ponytail with fluffy tiger ears perched atop his head.
'Damn, isn't that Jing Yuan? I wonder if the rest of the High Cloud Quintet is here?... wait, why the fuck are they even here in the first place?' Meliodas wondered as he realized that even more recognizable characters that did not belong here were appearing even more.
Meliodas has now realized what this place was.
Actually, it should have been evident from the beginning to him.
