Chapter 97 - Chapter 97: The Beautiful Aunt, Tang Yuehua

Arriving in front of the Moon Pavilion, Tang Yin gazed at the building before him. It was a five-story structure, quite tall even by the standards of Heaven Dou City.

The first impression the building gave was one of refined elegance. Its architectural style was simple yet classical, with only two words inscribed on the plaque: Moon Pavilion.

Not many people came and went, but those who did were clearly either nobility or individuals of exceptional grace and bearing—men and women alike.

With Tang Yin's striking appearance, noble demeanor, and expensive attire, the guards at the entrance assumed he was a young aristocrat and dared not stop him. Thus, he entered the Moon Pavilion without issue.

As he stepped inside, a faint, refreshing fragrance greeted him. The entrance screen was carved from high-quality boxwood, exuding a subtle woody aroma. In front of it, two rare orchids, each three meters tall, emitted a delicate fragrance.

Just crossing the threshold seemed to shut out the noise and bustle of the outside world.

Behind the screen was a spacious hall. The floor was paved with large gray tiles, each a meter long, while the furnishings were all crafted from rare and expensive woods. Behind a broad desk at the far end stood several plainly dressed but exceptionally elegant young women.

On either side of the desk were two meticulously designed wooden staircases.

Tang Yin walked forward slowly and approached the desk, addressing the tallest of the young women: "Please inform the Pavilion Master that she has a visitor."

The girl was taken aback, her delicate brows furrowing slightly. "You are…?"

Though Tang Yin was undeniably handsome and carried an extraordinary aura, this was the Moon Pavilion. Anyone who walked in and immediately asked to see the Pavilion Master had to be properly vetted.

"The Pavilion Master is my aunt," Tang Yin stated plainly.

The girl froze, staring at him for a long moment before finally snapping out of it. "Please wait a moment," she said, then turned and hurried upstairs to deliver the message.

Before long, the sound of footsteps descended from the staircase.

A stunningly beautiful woman came into view.

At the sight of her, Tang Yin couldn't help but feel surprised—he couldn't discern her true age at all.

At first glance, she appeared to be in her late twenties, but her eyes held a depth of wisdom and experience that no ordinary woman of that age could possess.

She wore a silver palace-style dress that fit her perfectly, accentuating her alluring figure—her full, perky breasts, slender waist, long and shapely legs sheathed in flesh-toned transparent stockings, and the voluptuous curves of her hips. Every inch of her exuded the mature charm unique to a woman in her prime.

This was the Moon Pavilion's master, Tang Yuehua—Tang Hao's younger sister.

When Tang Yuehua heard the maid's report, she immediately thought of her elder brother, Tang Hao. They had been in contact before, and she knew he had both a son and an adopted son.

She was certain no one would dare impersonate a relation to approach her.

That meant the visitor had to be either Tang Hao's biological son or his adopted son.

The thought alone made her restless, and she hurried downstairs to see for herself.

The moment she laid eyes on Tang Yin waiting below, she couldn't help but study him carefully. He was young, handsome, and carried a faintly bewitching charm that easily drew attention.

Approaching him, Tang Yuehua asked softly, "You said… I'm your aunt?"

Tang Yin nodded. "My adoptive father often spoke of you. Also, my younger brother and I are currently studying at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, along with Master and the others."

He then recounted some of his experiences with Tang Hao to prove he was indeed Tang Hao's adopted son.

After listening, Tang Yuehua's face lit up with emotion. Unable to contain herself, she stepped forward and pulled Tang Yin into a tight embrace, as if she wanted to meld him into her very being.

The staff of the Moon Pavilion were stunned. Never had they imagined their usually poised and dignified Pavilion Master displaying such raw emotion.

As Tang Yin was held by his "aunt," he instinctively wrapped his arms around her alluring, voluptuous figure.

Her intoxicating fragrance filled his senses, and he took a deep breath, savoring the scent of the woman who was now, in name, his aunt.

After a long moment, Tang Yuehua finally released him and led him upstairs to the top floor.

The highest level of the Moon Pavilion was a grand hall, even more elegantly furnished than the first floor.

Every piece of furniture here was made of agarwood, filling the entire floor with a delicate, soothing aroma.

What was agarwood? It was a rare and precious wood, more expensive than its weight in gold. The furnishings in this hall alone were worth an astronomical sum.

Around the hall were four doors, their destinations unknown.

The atmosphere here was one of comfort, tranquility, serenity, and sophistication.

There was no excessive opulence, but the faint scent of wood in the air had a calming effect on the heart.

Tang Yuehua smiled at Tang Yin. "This floor is my private space. No one comes up here without my permission. Sit." She guided him to a chair.

Then, she studied him closely once more.

"Child, tell me about your adoptive father," she said gently.

Her hand unconsciously reached out to caress Tang Yin's face, her touch light and tender—almost like a mother doting on her son.

Tang Yuehua was well aware of her elder brother Tang Hao's circumstances. She knew he had taken in an adopted son, and now, seeing Tang Yin, she couldn't help but feel deep affection, imagining how difficult his life must have been following Tang Hao all these years.

"Aunt, actually, I've been doing quite well all this time. It's just that Father…"

Calling Tang Yuehua "aunt" felt completely natural to Tang Yin—even affectionate. But when it came to Tang Hao, his expression turned hesitant.

Tang Hao had been killed by his own son, Tang San.

How would Tang Yuehua react if she learned this?

But Tang Yin, now a man with the Green Light System, was no fool. He wouldn't say anything that might put him in a bad light.

Instead, he chose to spin a tale—just as he had with Tang San—claiming that years ago, his adoptive father had vanished without a trace, leaving him and his adoptive mother, Ah Yin, behind.

"What?! Sister-in-law… she's been resurrected?!"

Tang Yuehua was well aware of Ah Yin's true identity. Hearing that she was now with Tang Yin left her utterly shocked.

Tang Yin nodded. "Yes. Mother currently lives with me at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. I study there, and she works as a teacher. We've been there for some time now."

Upon hearing this, Tang Yuehua immediately wanted to visit her sister-in-law, Ah Yin. However, she still had matters to attend to and couldn't leave just yet.
