"Ares?!"
Ares' eyes flew open as he heard footsteps coming his way.
Pulling away from the wall, he waited for Tony to get to him.
"Where is Zane?" He asked, ignoring the staff that had brought him to that floor, to take a hold of Ares' hand.
"They're still in the theater with him. I think we'll have to wait until dawn," he explained with a heaviness in his voice.
Tony let him go, and began to breathe in and out.
The staff sensing it wasn't a good time to hover, turned around and left them alone.
"Hey man, I'm so sorry it came down to this. It's my fault. I was supposed to go to the tower with him."
"No," Tony straightened up and sniffled. "It wasn't your fault. I made him go. Even though I knew the reason he left the states before was because he wanted no parts of this bullshit. You know he used to ask me why I had dealings with gangsters if I wasn't one myself."
Ares leaned on the wall again, as he stared pitifully at Tony who was suddenly looking his age.
