"His majesty, King Titus, has returned to the castle." Said a maid who just came to Suzan and me.
"Already?" said Suzan. "That was fast."
That was fast. I would have expected hundreds of people to show up for King Titus' miraculous healing. Perhaps only a few arrived, or perhaps King Titus changed his mind about it.
Maybe he exhausted his magic power by healing a few people. I am sure such incomparable magic must take a heavy toll on him. I probably should not ask him about it. He may be unhappy that he was unable to heal everyone.
Suzan and I hurried to finish preparing to go to the forbidden forest. Then, we went to meet the others in the entrance hall.
"Apologies for the delay." I said.
"It's alright, we'll leave as soon as you're ready." said King Titus.
My servants proceeded to load our luggage onto the carriage while King Titus said his farewells to George and my father. Then, we all got into the carriage and departed with an escort of knights.
