Fifi sat cross-legged on her soft yellow blanket, ears twitching slightly as she hugged a round pillow.
It had been three days since Lucius let her rest.
No more war rooms. No more simulations.
Just soft things and warm lights.
Fiona was drying her fiery-orange hair with a towel.
She then peeked over from her bed across the room.
"You're looking brighter today."
Fifi looked up and gave a tiny nod. "Mhm. My legs don't hurt anymore."
Fiona smiled and tossed the towel aside.
"Good. You were scaring me for a bit. I thought you'd go all quiet forever."
"I was just tired," Fifi mumbled, voice soft.
"I didn't know rest could feel this nice…"
She stretched her arms up with a yawn, then blinked at Fiona.
"Big Sis Fiona?"
Fiona blinked. "Big Sis?"
Fifi's eyes went wide.
"Oh. I… I wasn't supposed to say that? I'm sorry. Am I not allowed?"
Fiona burst out laughing, then stood up and crossed the room in two steps.
She plopped down next to Fifi and gave her a gentle noogie.
