"In that case, you're officially hired and since I can't afford to pay you as my bodyguard..." Sarah handed him the black shopping bag. "...I can always say, thank you."
Henry's jaws dropped as he slowly collected the bag from her. His smile was simply adorable to behold as he took a peek into the bag like a child receiving his first Christmas gift ever from Santa.
He could make out a perfume pack, a set of ties, and a wristwatch. But he couldn't see the other contents which were at the bottom.
"Sarah... I don't know what to say." Henry's hands itched at his side to hug her. But he didn't want to ruin the magical moment by being too expressive or forward.
Sarah's cute laughter sounded like magical sirens in Henry's ears.
"You don't have to say anything."
"Umm... Give me a second." Henry hurried to pick up the chocolate gift bag while dropping the black shopping bag. He returned to his beaming friend and handed it over to her.
