The carriages came from Emberwood, the city of the Foxkin, pulled by wyverns. For a moment, Kent thought the wyverns were the real deal.
However, Dori's words shut down those thoughts, which then led him to wonder just how real arrays can be.
It just didn't make any sense. The arrays he knew were mainly conjured into shields, formations, and other structures, not something this complex and almost tangible.
Almost real?
They are perhaps real, considering they are producing the sounds real wyverns make, and adding to that, they also have the natural reactions that a real wyvern would have.
They are basically the real deal, and Kent just couldn't wrap his mind around it.
But when they landed—or more like when they approached them and hovered before them—he scanned them using his enchanted eyes, and the results were not what he had expected.
