In the evening, Yun Ran was carrying some items to the hot springs pool that only guests staying in the top-floor presidential suite could use.
Right after stepping out of the elevator, a harsh roar pierced the air: "Did you ever love me?!"
Followed by a woman's resolute voice: "Never!"
Yun Ran: ...
That sure gave Yun Ran a scare; wasn't this supposed to be the most upscale hotel? How come there's such a crazy scene going on?
Well, damn, seems like I picked the wrong day to go out without checking the almanac. Just by their voices, one could tell they must be a pair of lunatics, the kind that would spell trouble for anyone who so much as glances their way.
"Stop right there!"
The tall and beautiful woman, seeing the elevator doors open, charged straight in. Yun Ran, with quick reflexes, stepped to the side just in time to avoid getting hit.
The man was a bit slower, reaching out to block the closing elevator doors, but it was already too late.
