Black Knight.
A classic and highly popular enemy character from the Dark Souls series.
Formerly Silver Knights, they were part of the powerful legion under the Sunlight King, Gwyn, participating in grand historical wars such as the Dragon Hunt.
Later, the Silver Knights split into two factions: one stationed in Yanor Londo, and the other followed Gwyn on his crusade against the Chaos Breeding Ground and the Chaos Demons. Their weapons and armor were blackened in battles with those flame-based demons, thus becoming Black Knights.
Another theory is that their black armor was scorched after following Gwyn in the Fire Transmission.
No matter the origin of this cool black skin, it's certain that the Black Knights participated in the Fire Transmission, and now they wander the world as the remaining ashes.
Gong Qiying is very curious whether they, having turned to ash, would reignite, and even if they could, their Black Knight Shields and equipment possess high fire resistance.
