Chapter 100 - Chapter 25: Part 3

- Sona -

"Aghh, I won't be able to go to the Comiket today. The meeting with the Japanese Supernatural Factions is right now. Everyone had agreed to this time and Yasaka had arrived last night too. And you already know how her schedule is. She has to go back by this evening as she can't be away from Kyoto for a long time. If I had known about that faker earlier, I could have set the meeting time later."

"Can't Sirzechs-sama or Grayfia attend with us or can't we call for someone else like Behemoth?" She asked.

"No. Sirzechs needs to attend the meeting with us while Grayfia had to take Milicas back to the Underworld early in the morning today due to some work. We cannot call anyone else at such short notice. The diplomatic procedures will take us several hours and by then we would be free by ourselves. But don't worry, when Onee-sama is here. We will obviously catch that fake and show her that I am the best Magical Girl in the world."

Sona wanted to say that the said girl wasn't even trying to be a Magical Girl. She was more like a Gothic Rockstar than a Magical Girl in pink… but she knew better than to poke that hornet's nest in front of her sister right now so she wisely kept quiet. "Then what should we do?" She asked.

"Well… Sirzechs and I discussed this and realised that it could be someone who is my fan or just someone cosplaying as me. It's not like they had done anything bad so we only need to ask about them first. We will talk to the organisers of the Comiket after today's meeting and find out the name and contact details of the band and then have a talk with them. If she is as good as you say, who knows… I might even invite her to sing in my next Magical Girl movie, Levia-tan and the Tyranny of the Evil Angel Gabr-uela."

"Then what should we do till then?" She asked, expertly ignoring everything else to not fall for the bait.

"Hmm, you can wait here at the hotel for us, or go and check the Comiket if you want to or even look around the city. There are many fun things going on. There is even a Cosplay Event later. I will be sure to come back by then and then we can compete together and win first place as the bestest of the best Magical Girl sisters So-tan and Levia-tan!" She cheered.

"I will stay in the hotel till you all return." She replied. She bought several manga and light novels with Rias yesterday. It could be a good time to read some of them.

Or so she had thought.

"I don't want to go." She pouted.

"But you promised to!" Rias countered. "You said you would go if you lost a game."

…yes. How had she lost in the game today?

"Oh come on Sona. It's going to be so much fun. I mean being someone else aside, Sara was a really good singer. There is a performance of the Crossroads today as well. I have checked it already. We can at least watch the show." Rias said as she pulled her and Akeno towards the venue of the Comiket.

Their hotel was just a little distance away from the venue.

"But we need to return back or Onee-sama and Sirzechs-sama will be worried when they return and don't find us back there."

"Don't worry. I have left a note for them in case we are late and it's not like we are going somewhere far away. And in case they want to call us back, there is always Communication Magic."

"That's… true. But still… I am just worried…"

"Don't worry. Nothing will happen. Tell her, Akeno."

"Ara, Rias is right. We are just going to the Comiket."

Sona also let out a sigh but they had already arrived at the venue by then.

They asked for the timings of the show and found that the first show was going to start in just fifteen minutes so they hurried to find a good place to watch from. Unlike yesterday, there was a much larger crowd today.

And to her surprise, she noticed that many of them were actually holding banners and flags to support the Crossroads Band and Sara…

Seriously. Yesterday was the first time she had seen or heard of this singer and now there were already fans of her with banners and flags, oh there were even masks for her?

Just how fast did these people work?

Rias went ahead and bought several masks too and brought them to their group excitedly.

"...what's this for?"

"Umm aren't we here to investigate secretly? Then shouldn't we wear masks… you know, like secret agents… spies?"

"Hah!" She knew that particular glint in Rias' eyes the moment she saw her so she didn't argue much and took the mask before wearing it.

Her mask looked like… some new magical girl.

After that, they found a good corner to watch the show from.

The band entered the stage and started preparing their instruments.

"Oh, Sara-chan is not here today?" Rias asked.

"Hmm… there is some guy instead of her. Will he be singing today?" She replied. She had indeed hoped to hear Sara again today.

"Mhh, actually… doesn't the guy kinda look a bit like you, Sona?" Rias asked.

Sona narrowed her eyes and saw closely and there were slight similarities between them but she brushed them off.

Black hair was quite common in Japan after all.

"Actually, I think he's kinda cute." Akeno giggled. "It might not be obvious but look closer when he lifted up that drum stand with one hand. Those are some solid arms… I wonder how it would feel around…"

"Shush!" She silenced her quickly.

"Ufufufufu are you jealous, Sona? Could it be that you want dibs on him?" She rolled her eyes, not responding to her friend's queen, already aware of her habit of teasing.

"Ahh, when will they start? I can't wait for Boss' song to start." They heard another voice near them and looked towards the side and saw a girl cosplaying as a… dragon looking at the stage impatiently. Without them even realising, another group had gathered beside them.

There were several girls in the group in various costumes and… woah… are those cosplays too? Pads… they have to be pads… But how is the bounce so natural?

As they watched the announcer started the announcements.

"Welcome back everyone to Summer Comiket!"

"Yay!" The crowd cheered loudly.

"We had an amazing day yesterday and we hope to have an even more amazing day today. So to start off the day, we have the crowd's favourite from yesterday… The Crossroadssssssssss! Led by their lead singer, Silas!"

This however received mixed reactions from the crowd.

Many cheered but many booed instead, wanting to see Sara once more.

"Hah! Who are these people dissing the boss? I will break their…" She couldn't hear what they were talking about in the loud noise of the crowd but it looked like they were angry at the booing.

"Now now, Tohru. Don't forget what we talked about before coming here. Don't worry. He will make them realise their mistake." the woman with… pads… for her own sanity, Sona refused to believe they could be anything else other than hyper realistic pads… said calmly.

Shaking her head, she looked at the stage as the boy took the stage and started.

"The first song is called… Clattanoia."

Then he started…

And the entire crowd became quiet.

Sona had a flashback of yesterday's show when a similar thing had happened.

Was it some kind of magic?

She checked just in case but didn't find anything.

Rias on the other hand was already busy recording the show on her camera.

And for once, even Sona let go of her investigation and watched the show instead. The boy was… also good, just like Sara.

When the first song ended, the entire crowd had changed their tune completely.

The ones booing him at the start were now cheering him on. He however looked completely unconcerned as he went on performing.

Although Sona observed closely and found that unlike yesterday when guys were the main audience cheering, today, girls were taking the lead.

"That was… awesome. This Crossroads Band has really great singers, don't they? First that Sara and now him. Although, I will say it again. I like this one better." Akeno joked again.

"Hmm, yes. He is good." She nodded absentmindedly.

The show however didn't care about their words and continued.

"Our next song is one of my favourites, Unravel."

The new song started differently from the previous one but when it picked up, it drove everyone mad.

Sona had been to concerts before.

Her sister was one of the biggest stars of the Underworld and she had seen how wild people could be in her concerts but that was because she was Serafall Leviathan.

It had taken her a lot of time to build up that reputation but here… someone who was being booed at was now making the crowd behave similar to the audience in her sister's shows.

The songs continued one after the other.

Kyoran Hey Kids, Bloody Stream and finally Shinzou wo Sasageyo, all five songs he sang had the crowd shouting for even more.

While she wouldn't say it out to avoid being teased by Akeno… Sona had a new favourite singer.

- Silas -

I got down the stage and I gotta say, it felt great. Especially when I remembered the situation of yesterday.

Turns out that actually having a crowd cheering at you while you don't have to worry about not having a dick… was a great feeling.

The Pleiades were also done for the day after the show and they were going to lend a hand behind the scenes at the stall. Right now Cid-kun's friends were managing the stall while Lavy and the rest were actually watching the show today.

It was the opposite yesterday.

Outside, I met Rimuru and Ainz who were all ready for the Cosplay Competition.

"That was awesome, Silas." Saitama patted my shoulder good naturedly.

"I still can't believe you can sing so well. Why didn't you ever tell us?" Rimuru asked.

"...it never came up, I guess." I shrugged. I mean, there was no way I would have hidden such a thing from them on purpose.

It was merely because there was never a chance to bring it up.

"Anyways, less about me. When is the Cosplay Competition starting?"

"The show will continue for a few more hours and after that there will be a half an hour break. Then we have the Cosplay Competition. Are you sure you don't want to participate? We have plenty of costumes ready."

"Nope. I am fine." I shook my head.

I was already wearing the Lelouch's Zero Costume and believe it or not, it was actually quite helpful as many people seemed to be searching for the lead singer of the Crossroads Band.

My hearing was picking up several of them as we walked towards our designated stall. It was mostly good things although there were some occasional regrets about not seeing 'Sara-chan'.

Well sorry but you will never see her again.

I like my dick too much to bring her back again.

We reached the backroom of our stall area and our entire group surrounded us congratulating me.

From the waitresses in the Restaurant to Cid-kun's friends who had somehow been watching the live feed of the entire show even as they worked to Kazuma and Megumin who had come to visit our world today.

Even Tohru and the rest who were watching the show returned and cheered for me.

I won't lie… it felt pretty good too.

We sat down while everyone told each other about what they had been up to.

My heart almost leapt to my mouth when I heard that Tohru was about to teach some of the crowd who were booing at the start a lesson before she was stopped by Lucoa. Truly, bringing Lucoa was the best decision.

"Please don't cause any trouble here, Tohru." I requested again.

"Yes. Your ways of dealing with things always cause too much noise and destruction. It's better to just curse them to death. Make it delayed so they die when they get back to their homes so as to not litter the place." Fafnir said.

"...that's not what I meant." I sighed. Fortunately, Kazuma was with Fafnir and had done an incredible job of keeping him under control.

I will prepare a gift for him just for this because I doubt even Lucoa alone could do that much alone.

Talking about troublemakers, where was Milim? I looked around the room and found her sitting nearby with Lavy.

Oh, so that's where she was. Good then.

We talked for a bit and I even took some time off to bring Lavy and Shuna around the place to enjoy the Comiket, something I hadn't been able to do yesterday.
