At Xavier's School—

The Blackbird jet descended from the sky. As the basketball court split open to reveal a hidden landing pad, the jet smoothly touched down.

Watching the scene unfold, both the students and teachers of the school smiled warmly.

Over the past three months, Logan and the others had done a great service for Xavier's School.

Not only had their mission earned greater recognition for the school, but it had also elevated the name "X-Men" to a symbol of honor—turning them into idols for the students.

During this time, the number of students had grown to nearly fifty.

In addition, the school had welcomed two new teachers—one was a regular human and the parent of a student. The other...

Glancing at the female teacher beside him, Charles Xavier's expression subtly shifted into one of restrained amusement.

He sincerely hoped Logan would be pleasantly surprised when he saw her.

"Alright, that's enough!" Charles clapped his hands and said to the onlookers, "Back to your activities, everyone!"

The students obediently dispersed, though many continued whispering excitedly about the Blackbird jet and Logan's team.

Charles smiled at Ororo and Jean. "Keep an eye on them, will you?"

The two women smiled and nodded, then quickly departed.

As the earliest arrivals at the school and among the most gifted mutants, they held a high level of respect and authority among the students.

"They're becoming more and more dependable," Hank McCoy said with a smile.

Charles nodded happily, then turned to Hank and the female teacher beside him. "Let's go. The others were taken below with the jet—we should meet them there."

The two nodded and followed Charles into the lower levels of the school.

After a short walk through the underground base, they encountered Logan, Scott, and Remy strolling down a metal corridor, laughing and chatting.

The moment they saw the trio, the laughter abruptly stopped.

All three men stared at the female teacher beside Charles with expressions that were… vivid.

Scott looked stunned. Remy wore a knowing smirk. And Logan—Logan looked downright panicked.

Charles smiled and addressed them, "Scott, why don't you tell me all about your recent experience?"

Sensing the tension, Scott quickly stepped forward and followed Charles away. Remy, still grinning, wrapped an arm around Hank's neck and said, "Come on, Hank, let me tell you all about what it's like piloting the Blackbird."

Hank hesitated, glancing between Logan and the woman. "But… I kind of want to watch how this plays out."

"No. No, you don't," Remy said firmly and dragged him away.

Hank looked disappointed, but gave Logan a thumbs-up as he was pulled off.

"Hey! Wait up!" Logan called out, taking a step to follow them—only for the woman beside him to speak in a calm, level voice.

"If you take another step, I'll make you wear a floral dress and spin in circles at the school gate—thirty thousand times."

Logan froze instantly. He knew she wasn't bluffing.

Because she was Emma Frost—the White Queen.

Forcing a smile, he asked, "What are you doing here?"

"I saw you online. You looked impressive," Emma said coolly. "I've been waiting for you here for three months."

Ghamila.

Damn it—Ghamila!

Logan's face twitched, his jaw clenched tightly.

"Listen," he said, a little desperate. "That night was just a misunderstanding. I didn't even know what was happening—I was drunk."

"Drunk?" Emma sneered, stepping closer. "Your powers make it nearly impossible for you to get drunk, don't they? You really want to go with that excuse?"

Cold sweat formed on Logan's forehead. As Emma drew closer, he instinctively stepped back. "It was a misunderstanding," he insisted.

"A misunderstanding?"

With a mere thought, Emma froze Logan in place. She grabbed him by the chin, her tone firm and commanding.

"What you did while fully conscious was a misunderstanding? Two full hours—two hours of 'misunderstanding'?"

"Yes. It was," Logan said, sticking to his story.

Emma stared into his eyes, and for a brief moment, her gaze softened—just slightly. "And after that? Once… twice… three times?"

Logan's face turned bright red.

Alright. Fine. He had slept with the White Queen.

As for how the first time happened…

His gaze turned distant, recalling that night.

He and Remy had been traveling together for a while. After they parted ways, he ran into Emma Frost.

The Hellfire Club had been fragmented for some time, and Emma was out in the world with a group of mutants. Logan had helped her out with a small issue. During their celebration afterward, the two got to talking—starting with a discussion about someone named Carla. The conversation grew more intimate. Emma, tipsy and flushed, eventually dragged him into a room...

And then—boom. Sparks flew. Flames ignited. The fire burned for two full hours.

It wasn't until the next morning that the two exhausted lovers finally woke up.

Logan had originally thought it was just a fleeting moment—two lonely people seeking comfort in each other. Who would've thought… it kept happening, again and again.

He realized it couldn't go on like this. If it did, how could he ever face Carla?

So he left Emma behind and resumed his travels.

Eventually, he arrived at Xavier's School.

Then Charles had told him that he'd be protected here—that he wouldn't let "that woman" take him away.

Right. He was a teacher now!

With that in mind, Logan quickly said, "I'm a teacher here. I'm not going with you—I like it here."

Emma paused for a moment, then suddenly smiled. "I like it here too. I'm a teacher now as well."

Logan: (Д)ノ

Panic rising, Logan blurted, "What about the Hellfire Club? Aren't you in charge of it?"

"It's gone," Emma said casually. "Over the years, some left. Others joined the Brotherhood a while back. Now there's just one person left—and they came with me to this school. They're working as the cook."

Logan: …

Why is everyone giving up so easily?

"I can't explain this to your sister. I mean, she and I—"

"Did you two get married?" Emma interrupted coolly. "You're just boyfriend and girlfriend. I don't mind."

"But—"

"Didn't you promise her you'd take care of me?"

"I did, but—"

"So what now? You want to abandon me? Leave me behind?"

As she spoke, her eyes reddened, tears threatening to spill over. She no longer looked like the imposing White Queen, but just a woman—one hopelessly chasing love.

She looked at Logan, and the depth in her gaze wrapped him in a strange sense of warmth and vulnerability.

He was silent.

Just then, a voice echoed in Emma's mind—it was Charles Xavier.

"What are you waiting for? Kiss him. Finish him! Victory is in your grasp!"

Two tears slid gently down her cheeks. She stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Logan, and kissed him hard.

Logan froze for a second… then pulled her into his arms and kissed her back fiercely.

To hell with it—he was done resisting!

The woman had chased him all the way here. If he still turned her down… what kind of man would he be?
