Hu Blessed Land
Months had passed since Fang Yuan returned after obtaining the formation inheritance.
During that time, he focused mainly on restoring the Green Claw Ghost Winged Lion back to its peak condition. After all, it was a beast that could rival a Rank 8 Immortal.
At the same time, he absorbed the Rank 7 formation inheritance he got, making his attainment in this path rise.
With the help of the A.I. chip, he created countless new formations to prepare for whatever scenarios might come his way.
Honestly, the chip's ability to analyze and create formations was on another level. It helped him perfect every detail in the formation and simulate all possible outcomes inside a formation with totally scary accuracy.
Fang Yuan couldn't help but think about how broken the A.I. chip was. "No wonder everyone says the A.I. chip is the real main character of Warlock of the Magus World. With a cheat like that, it'd be weird if Leylin Farlier didn't reach the top."
He chuckled confidently. "And it'd be even weirder if I didn't do the same."
He looked up, a calm yet determined expression on his face. "Well then… it's time."
He narrowed his eyes slightly. "Heaven's Will might start acting against me now. Gotta stay sharp," he thought, fully aware of what was about to happen.
Today was the day—the Earth Calamity of Hu Blessed Land had come.
Suddenly, the skies above the blessed land cracked open. The air grew heavy, thick with an ominous pressure that screamed something terrible was coming.
"It's here," he muttered as the light in the sky grew brighter and brighter, his pupils narrowing into slits.
The Earth Calamity had begun.

Some time later...
"...Huh."
"That was way easier than I expected. Like, if there was an 'easy mode' for this calamity, this was even easier than that."
He was sitting in the palace, completely relaxed now that the calamity was over.
"And the loot was insane."
Fang Yuan leaned back slightly, smiling to himself. He hadn't expected the Earth Calamity to go this smoothly.
"Same as the original plot… the Desolate Beast Swamp Crab. Good thing I prepared for this little guy too. Such a good reward from him," he said, opening his palm.
Inside it sat an Immortal Gu, shining faintly.
It was the Gruel Mud Immortal Gu, the one hidden inside the Desolate Beast Swamp Crab.
"This Gu's going to play a big role for me… but that's for later."
"The only downside is the Desolate Beast is dead now. As soon as I stole the Gu from him, he went nuts and forced my hand. I was hoping to enslave him, but oh well. Can't get them all."
He glanced at the massive corpse nearby. "Still, I can sell this for a good chunk of resources once I join a sect."
A mischievous grin spread across his face. "Heh… Time to dump that 'good brother' of mine—He Feng Yang."
Standing up, Fang Yuan activated a gate leading out of his blessed land. Without hesitation, he stepped through it, leaving Hu Blessed Land behind as he emerged into the outside world.

Outside Hu Blessed Land – Tian Ti Mountain
"Huh? Fang Yuan? You actually dared to show yourself?"
"HAHAHAHA! What a perfect day to—"
"...Wait, what the hell? You're an immortal?!"
He Feng Yang's smile froze as Fang Yuan suddenly appeared in front of him, calmly stepping out of the gate from Hu Blessed Land.
Just moments ago, He Feng Yang had been preparing to invade, confident that Fang Yuan was still a lowly mortal.
But now… this?
"Ahem~"
"I'm Fang Yuan," he declared loudly, voice echoing across the mountain, "the new Rank 6 Gu Immortal of Central Continent—here to publicly expose your Immortal Crane Sect's schemes."
He raised his voice on purpose. After all, Tian Ti Mountain was crawling with spies from all the major forces. Better to let them all hear.
"You—when did you even become an immortal?!" He Feng Yang shouted in disbelief. "You were just Rank 4 the last time we met! This shouldn't be possible!"
Fang Yuan replied calmly, as if he'd expected the reaction. "If you've heard about me in the Southern Border, you'd know that nothing is impossible for me."
"Tch. Doesn't matter. You're just a new ascended immortal," He Feng Yang snarled. "Let's see if you're still cocky after I beat the truth out of you!"
Without another word, He Feng Yang launched his attack.
"Crane Swarm!"
A flood of flying beasts appeared—hundreds of elegant, sharp-beaked cranes swirling through the air like razors, each one organized with his enslavement path killer move.
"Fire Tornado."
Fang Yuan just raised his hand, and a spiraling storm of flame and wind roared to life.
The tornado sucked in the entire swarm of beasts and incinerated them on the spot. The heat alone scorched the nearby cliffside.
He Feng Yang's eyes widened. "A combined-path killer move?"
He growled in frustration and summoned his trump card—a massive beast that tore through space and landed beside him with a screeching cry.
"Nine Palace Crane!"
The desolate beast roared, its nine pairs of wings spreading wide.
He Feng Yang charged forward, coordinating his attacks with the beast, confident this would turn the tide.
But he underestimated Fang Yuan—again.
Fang Yuan didn't even move from his spot. He simply unleashed another series of combined-path killer moves, layered and complex.
Water Path fused with Lightning Path.
Wind Path entangled with Sword Path.
Every move was perfectly calculated.
Within moments, the Nine Palace Crane was crashing into the dirt, bleeding and screaming. He Feng Yang followed soon after, smashed into the rocks, his bones broken, and coughing blood.
"W-What… what is your damn path?" he stammered. He'd never seen such a bizarre fighting style. Fang Yuan had used so many paths—none of them clearly dominant. It made no sense.
Fang Yuan smirked. "That's none of your business."
"Damn it! No—I have to know! Please, just tell me…" He Feng Yang begged miserably, his voice cracking. It felt like his life depended on the answer.
Fang Yuan stared at him, expression cold and unmoved. "I missed the part where that's my problem."
But inside, he was practically dancing. "Hahaha! I said it! All those years using that meme—it finally paid off."
"Now then… time for the next part of the show."
He then pulled out a Gu formation and activated it with a thought. In a flash of light, a massive figure emerged behind him.
ROOOAAARRR!!
