Ivy River glanced at him, "Three, two..."
She didn't even finish counting.
Gale Wiles obediently took off his jacket and rolled up his shirt sleeves, "I'll show you, I'll show you. How can a brother disregard his sister's filial piety?"
Alaric Taylor smiled but said nothing.
He was noble and detached, elegant and aloof, giving off an unapproachable vibe.
But his eyes were fixed on Ivy River, a faint smile playing on his lips.
Five minutes later.
Ivy River unceremoniously pushed Gale Wiles' arm aside, "Alright, I covered for you with Dad, you should've called him to let him know you were safe, letting the old man worry all afternoon."
Gale Wiles touched his nose, speaking awkwardly, "There are outsiders here, can you give me some face? I am your brother."
Ivy River slumped onto the sofa lazily, "Alaric is not an outsider. Besides, what face do you need?"
Alaric Taylor laughed lightly, "Ivy's right."
Gale Wiles said, "Sycophant! Don't flatter my sister in front of me."
