Ivy River completely missed the earth-shaking changes on Twitter.
She drove straight to the research institute.
"Master, why do you think my Sky Heart Lotus has been wilting lately? This little guy is really embarrassing me."
Lucas Woods couldn't help but comment as he listened to Ivy River's complaints, "How long has it been since you last checked on it? Plants have feelings too, you know?"
Ivy River immediately understood, "Master~ I've been super busy lately, haven't I told you? I've been so swamped, otherwise, how could I not come see you!"
Her tone was very sincere.
Lucas Woods snorted, shook her arm off, and went straight to water the plants, mumbling:
"People are like plants; they need care. The Sky Heart Lotus has been nurtured for so many years and has propagated numerous offspring. We should appreciate it, look at it more often. We shouldn't only come when we need it and neglect it otherwise..."
