But it seemed like a coincidence.
Yet, he heard it again from Fatty's mouth.
He raised an eyebrow, intrigued, "How are you going to make my company pay? Go on, let's hear it. I'll see if it scares me, and if it does, maybe I'll give your mom a call."
Only then did Fatty realize what he had said.
He bluntly replied, "I'll make your company pay by yelling downstairs, saying you abuse children. It'll ruin your reputation."
Edwin Blake could never be deceived by such words.
Unmoved, he said, "Have you ever attacked before? Sometimes I'm not at the company, so if you cause a scene, you might not see me."
"No, if you haven't provoked me, why would I attack your company?"
Fatty's intellect was sharp enough to catch Edwin Blake fishing for information.
"Alright, then you can leave. I won't let you use my phone. You'll have to find another way to contact your mom. I have no idea where your mom's money is anyway."
Edwin Blake walked straight to the door and tossed Fatty out.
