Chapter 238 - Chapter 238: The Airport Battle Begins

["Oh! That's good! Okay! There are two targets in the parking lot—one of them is Maximoff! I'll take care of her!"]

[Tony scanned Barton and Wanda behind him, then turned to Rhodey as he took off. "Rhodey, can you handle the Captain?"]

[Rhodey quickly analyzed the figures in the waiting hall. "Two more in the terminal—Wilson and Barnes!"]

[At the mention of Bucky's name, T'Challa clenched his fists, his voice cold and unwavering. "Barnes is mine."]

[Just as Rhodey prepared to engage, Steve Rogers threw his shield, striking him mid-air and knocking him back.]

[Spider-Man, still new to a large-scale battle like this, felt nervous. "Uh… Mr. Stark? What should I do?"]

["Didn't we go over this? Keep your distance—use your webs to slow them down," Tony reminded him.]

["Right! Got it!" The young Spider-Man immediately launched his webbing and swung into action.]

[T'Challa sprinted toward the terminal, only for Steve Rogers to chase after him. With a calculated throw, he sent his shield flying, striking Black Panther at the base of his neck and knocking him forward.]

[Not missing a beat, Steve lunged, grabbed T'Challa's collar, and tossed him aside.]

[T'Challa landed on one knee, his piercing gaze locking onto Steve Rogers. "Move, Captain! I won't say it again."]

[When Steve refused to budge, T'Challa responded without hesitation—executing a seamless mid-air triple-kick. Steve Rogers blocked with his shield, but the impact still sent him skidding backward a few steps.]

"Whoa! That was awesome!" The second-generation Spider-Man couldn't help but exclaim in admiration. He knew he could pull off similar moves, but watching someone else execute them so flawlessly was a different experience.

"I think you're still a little ahead of me," Gwen Stacy said with a smile. She clearly remembered the acrobatics Spider-Man had displayed when fighting Connors at school and against Max Dillon in the power grid.

It was incredible. Even though she trained regularly with his Spider-Man, she was always a step behind. No matter how much she increased her concentration, he seemed to anticipate attacks before they happened.

Her strikes would often miss, and since his spidermand didn't want to hit her too hard, their sparring matches usually consisted of him dodging most of her attacks. The rare hits she landed weren't enough to shift the tide in her favor.

Most of their fights ended in a draw, but deep down, Gwen knew that more often than not, she was the one at a disadvantage.

Meanwhile, Princess Shuri was watching the battle unfold, eyes locked on T'Challa's suit. She had just been considering some new ideas, and seeing her brother already wearing such advanced armor in the future confirmed something important—her research would be successful.

Her determination solidified. She wouldn't follow Tony Stark's path in designing battle suits, but there were elements she could learn from—like flight capabilities. That function was definitely worth considering.

[Scott Lang found himself face-to-face with Natasha Romanoff, who stood in his path, her arms crossed. He sighed helplessly. "Look, I really don't want to fight you."]

["Yeah? I wouldn't worry about that."]

[Before Scott could react, Natasha landed a brutal kick straight to his groin. He doubled over instantly, clutching his most vulnerable area, gasping in agony.]

[Natasha attempted to flip him over with a shoulder throw, but Scott recovered quickly, pressing the button on his suit to shrink mid-air. Using her own strength against her, he flipped her instead.]

[Having never fought an opponent with such an ability, Natasha hit the ground hard. Before she could react, Scott scurried across her back and grabbed her wrist.]

[But Natasha wasn't someone to be easily subdued. Clenching her teeth, she activated her Widow's Bite, sending a jolt of electricity through him.]

[Scott yelped as the shock sent him flying, crashing into a nearby machine and leaving a small dent in the wall.]

"Oh? Looks like this Scott Lang isn't that easy to handle," Natasha observed with mild amusement as she watched herself get taken down for a moment.

"Yeah, seems like it. He can shrink at will? What an incredible ability." Coulson chuckled. It wasn't often that Natasha was caught off guard.

"I just hope he doesn't have that ability right now," Natasha muttered, remembering that this guy was currently a wanted man in her time. A headache for the future.

Fortunately, the police had already surrounded Scott's home, keeping him under watch.

[Elsewhere, outside the terminal, a small spider-shaped figure clung to the glass walls, rapidly scaling its surface.]

[Bucky, running alongside Sam, spotted the movement and frowned. "What is that?"]

[Sam groaned. "Man, everyone has some kind of trick these days."]

[The little spider suddenly jumped, launching a web to shatter the glass while using his momentum to propel forward. The moment Sam realized what was happening, Spider-Man swung in and delivered a powerful kick—sending Sam flying.]

[Without missing a beat, Spider-Man turned and threw a punch at the Winter Soldier. Bucky, seeing his partner get knocked away, immediately retaliated with a full-force swing of his mechanical arm.]

[But Spider-Man casually caught the punch.]

[Bucky's eyes widened in shock. His mouth opened slightly in disbelief. His cybernetic arm was powerful enough to tear through metal—yet this kid had stopped it with one hand?!]

[Spider-Man looked at the arm with excitement. "Dude! You have a metal arm?! That's awesome, bro!"]

[Before he could keep talking, Sam suddenly swooped down and tackled him in mid-air. Spider-Man instinctively latched onto Sam with his webbing, causing them both to ascend.]

["You have the right to remain silent!" Spider-Man quipped.]

[Sam, unimpressed, flipped in midair and kicked him away. But before he could get far, Spider-Man shot out another web and swung back into pursuit.]

"Bucky, what happened to you?" Steve Rogers muttered under his breath, staring at Bucky's left arm.

"Don't worry, Cap," Clint reassured him. "At least he's alive and well in this future. We'll find him."

Steve nodded, gratitude evident in his expression. "Thanks, Clint."

"Anytime." Clint shrugged with a smirk.

[Meanwhile, Tony hovered above the battlefield, locking onto Barton and Wanda below. His shoulder-mounted launchers activated, firing multiple missiles at them.]

[He didn't want to cause serious harm, so he deliberately aimed the blasts around them. Unfortunately, a nearby plane and truck weren't as lucky—both were obliterated in the crossfire.]

[Barton and Wanda sprinted through the chaos, dodging the explosions. Barton, shielding Wanda instinctively, moved protectively in front of her. To an outsider, it might have looked like there was something between them.]

[Back on the ground, T'Challa and Steve Rogers remained locked in their clash. The vibranium claws of Black Panther's suit left deep scratches across Steve's shield.]

[T'Challa unleashed a rapid flurry of attacks, swiping at Steve's head with precision. Steve dodged each strike, barely managing to block the final two blows with his shield.]

[Facing Black Panther's relentless assault, Steve Rogers remained on the defensive. He couldn't overpower him—not with that suit. Any direct hit would only charge its kinetic energy storage, making T'Challa even more dangerous.]

[The only option was to stall him—to keep him occupied long enough to prevent him from reaching Bucky.]
