Seeing that Amelia was too furious to speak, Selina suddenly smiled.
"Mrs. Perry, don't be so upset. Every story has two sides. Look on the bright side—if you pretend the baby is Chairman Reid's, at least your son won't be labeled a cold-blooded scumbag. Doesn't that feel a bit more comforting?"
Luke was stunned. He was completely in awe of Selina—he even felt like bowing to her.
"Think about it. Chairman Reid already has a few illegitimate children. Admitting this one's his is better than having everyone say your son's a heartless bastard, isn't it?"
"You—!" Amelia shrieked. "Get out, get out!"
Selina blinked innocently. "Why are you so upset, Mrs. Perry? You didn't seem like this when you told me to accept Logan's 'love child'—"

Before Selina could finish, a deep male voice cut her off.
Her brows lifted as she turned, visibly annoyed.
