Chapter 34 - 33 - Avalon Estate

Iseul turned to Chae-min, a hint of amusement in her voice. "Your son is quite the charmer." Chae-min smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yeah, he's quite popular with girls."

Iseul's gaze sparkled with interest. "I see, if we weren't from rivaling sects and also from rivaling families, we would have gotten along quite well, don't you think so?" Chae-min's expression turned thoughtful. "Yeah, we would. Not that I don't like you," she added, turning to glance at Muhan and Mi-cha in the back seat.

Mi-cha was playfully hitting Muhan, her laughter infectious. Muhan smiled back, clearly fond of their couple fights. The atmosphere in the car was lighthearted, a welcome respite from the tensions that often accompanied their interactions.

Mi-cha's playful hits turned into gentle pokes, Muhan's reactions exaggerated for comedic effect. "Ow, you're hurting me!" he said, laughing. Mi-cha giggled, her eyes sparkling. "You're just too weak."

Muhan retaliated with a mock-offended expression. "Weak? I'll have you know, I'm a formidable warrior." Mi-cha raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Prove it."

Muhan's eyes locked onto Mi-cha's, a mischievous glint sparking within them. "Alright, I'll show you my strength," he said, his voice low and playful. Mi-cha's eyes widened slightly, anticipating his next move.

With a quick flick of his wrist, Muhan gently tickled Mi-cha's side. She let out a surprised squeal, her body jerking away from the touch. "Muhan, stop it!" she laughed, trying to catch her breath.

Muhan chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You can't handle a little tickling?" he teased, his fingers poised to strike again. Mi-cha's eyes flashed with determination. "I'll show you," she said, launching a playful counterattack.

The two of them engaged in a gentle, loving battle, their laughter and playful shouts filling the Nano Car. Gunhee and Han exchanged a warm glance, happy to see their children so carefree. Iseul and Chae-min smiled, enjoying the lighthearted atmosphere.

As the Nano Car approached Avalon estate, Muhan and Mi-cha's playfulness slowly subsided, replaced by anticipation for what lay ahead. The estate's grandeur came into view, its sprawling gardens and majestic architecture a testament to its rich history.

The Nano Car came to a stop, and the doors slid open. Gunhee stepped out first, followed by Han and the others. Muhan and Mi-cha emerged last, their hands touching briefly as they exited the car.

In the vast expanse of the Leveling realm, a dark-red Demi-god with horns that gleamed like polished rubies sat upon his throne, his piercing eyes fixed intently on his secretary, Eun-ji. "It seems the young boy named Muhan has disappeared from this realm," he declared, his voice low and commanding. Eun-ji bowed her head slightly, her raven-black hair cascading down her face like a waterfall. "Yes, my Lord. We are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his disappearance." Her voice was as smooth as silk, but a hint of curiosity flickered in her eyes.

The Demi-god's interest in Muhan was palpable, and Eun-ji knew better than to underestimate the importance of finding the young boy. She made a mental note to expedite the investigation and provide her Lord with regular updates. The Demi-god's gaze lingered on her for a moment before he turned his attention elsewhere, his thoughts consumed by the implications of Muhan's disappearance.

Meanwhile, at the majestic Avalon estate, a grand procession unfolded. Gunhee Lawson, the sect leader of Pjeonjaeham, and Han, the leader of the Jonjae sect, walked side by side, followed closely by Iseul, Chae-min, Muhan, and Mi-cha. As they made their way along the walkway, a group of soldiers dressed in dark red Nano suits and black helmets stood at attention, their heads bowed in respect. The red carpet that lined the walkway seemed to glow in the fading light, and the soldiers' precision was a testament to their discipline.

As they approached the huge, ornate door, it swung open, revealing a scene of tension. King Raswa the 10th, the ruler of Planet Nexus, sat upon his throne, his face red with anger. Before him stood Dokja, the sect leader of Hondon, his expression calm yet resolute. The king's voice boomed through the halls of the estate, "Your people caused a significant amount of damage to the Hyeonsil continent and even killed the governor." He slammed his fist on the large table of elders, the sound echoing through the room.

Dokja's response was immediate. "It's not my fault you made them riot," he retorted, his voice firm and unwavering. The tension between the king and Dokja was palpable, and Gunhee's arrival seemed to heighten the stakes.

The complex web of relationships between the king, sect leaders, and governors was evident. As the ruler of Planet Nexus, King Raswa governed the four continents through his appointed governors, each responsible for maintaining order and stability within their respective territories. Gunhee, as the sect leader of Pjeonjaeham, and Han, as the leader of the Jonjae sect, wielded significant influence within their respective sects, their authority recognized throughout the realm of Aethoria.

The balance of power was delicate, and the argument between King Raswa and Dokja threatened to upset the equilibrium. Muhan and Mi-cha stood attentively, sensing the weight of the situation. Iseul and Chae-min watched with interest, aware of the intricate dynamics at play. The argument between King Raswa and Dokja showed no signs of abating, and it remained to be seen how the situation would unfold.

As the standoff continued, Gunhee's eyes narrowed slightly, his gaze fixed on the king and Dokja. Han's expression remained calm, but a hint of tension flickered in his eyes. The fate of Planet Nexus hung in the balance, and the outcome of this confrontation would determine the course of history.
