"What happened?" Lacie asked the moment she saw her sister storming out of the house while mumbling something under her breath. She had expected they'd end their day in the hotel, but Mila had suggested they go home out of the blue.
Even when Lacie asked why, Mila had said it was to get her room cleaned up, but somewhere deep down Lacie felt it was because she wanted to see Zyran or maybe not. Mila had become more unpredictable than the weather forecast back in their town; every day was a rainy day in her heart.
"Let's go," Mila threw her bag inside the car and sat down with a tired sigh, using her hand to cover her face. "I'm so tired right now," she muttered.
Lacie started the car. "I'll order chicken and beer to our room once we arrive, is that okay?"
