Mila sucked in her breath, as she made her way calmly towards the herd of reporters. "A sea full of sharks," she muttered under her breath.
"We should take another route, there's too many of them," Lacie suggested, afraid even by the number of reporters that had gathered just for her sister. It worried her even more how they got to know about her return.
Mila shook her head slowly, "If we hide, then they won't have a job."
Confused, Lacie turned, "Huh?"
"Let's keep them employed," Mila reached for the door and pushed it open. Her eyes fixed on the faces of the excited reporters who didn't expect her to show up at all. A glint flashed in her eyes, not a smile or annoyance but satisfaction. The fleeting feel of satisfaction like her prey had gathered in one place at the same time. Mila had it in her eyes as she watched the reporters.
"Are you really back, Mrs. Milena?" one of the reporters asked.
