So far, the mainstream understanding of the Dragon Clan by humanoid races is rather narrow compared to the Dragon Clan itself. Differentiating the Dragon Clan as justice, kind, evil, etc., using humanoid moral concepts is not accurate.
Even among the same Dragon Species, each dragon is different, with its own personality traits. Seeing a Golden Dragon and then assuming it's just, kind, gentle, and friendly to humans is an extremely foolish perception.
