The atmosphere in the room tensed up the moment Michael put his daunting gaze on Angelina. He doesn't give a fuck about who she is or what's her signifiacance in Luke's life— she was the sole reason Layla had to went through agony for countless times in her childhood.
"Mi-Michael." He snapped back to reality, his gaze softening the moment he looked down. There she was, Layla with a usual pout, looking at him like a lost puppy; there was fear in her honey orbs.
"No need to do this." She mumbled to him, her hands clutching him. He sighed and looked over to Angelina, who was trembling in fear, seeing the animosity in his eyes. She wasn't aware of the fact, Luke was working under him… but even if she knew, she would have still saved him, because she fell in love with him.
