I wore the clothing and went out of the door. Kira followed besides me while Slyvester and Mack trailed behind.
"Good noon, my lady." They greeted. I nodded and walked forward.
"Kira?" I whispered to Kira. She looked at me.
"Yes?"
"Do you know the direction to the library?"
Good heavens, this was the first question I should had asked her before heading out. Now, I hoped she knows of it.
"Yes, I have passed by it once."
I heaved a sigh of relief. I would have headed back if she had said no or perhaps would have asked my guards.
I wondered if they would answer right.
As we walked, I could hear the maids around whispering in hush tones to each other. Though I couldn't hear much but I could tell they were gossiping about the lies Mallory had possibly spread.
I didn't care what they said about me but I was bothered of it reaching Luther.
Luther was quite evil. Whether or not I did it, he would yet punish me.
