"My lady, are you alright?" Slyvester asked, concerned. He had been the one to instantly jump into the water and drew me out.
I coughed out the water trapped in my throat, feeling the headache and the immense ache from the sudden fall overwhelm me.
I could hear loud footsteps approaching me until someone abruptly went over, forcing it to cease.
"Princess I beg of you, that's enough." It was Kira's voice.
Even though I couldn't see it, I could tell Charlotte got even more pissed from her actions.
"You lowly maid! How dare you stop me?"
I heard someone fall hard to the floor. It seemed she had pushed Kira from her path.
I was crossed, not just because she had almost caused me to drown but because she had pushed Kira.
Kira was a sole bosom friend, her getting hurt was something I couldn't tolerate.
